Nicole Ware, the regional manager tried to steal from us tonight after our dinner took over two hours to be served to us with different meals coming out 45 minutes apart. We ordered 7 meals, 4 adult meals and three kids meals. After more than an hour of waiting the 4 adult meals finally arrived. We were told the kids meals would be right out. 15 minutes later, the chicken tenders make their way to the table. 15 minutes after that, the Kraft Mac and cheese finally arrived. My six year old, who was waiting on 5 traditional, unsauced wings for an hour and a half at this point began to cry as his food was still not there. Another 15 minutes passes and his food is finally there. We are told the last two kids meals will be taken off the bill. Now, the adults have been waiting to eat this whole time until everyone was served, so we got to eat cold, soggy food. The server then never returned to the table. I had to refill my own water, get boxes for the leftovers and track someone down to get a bill. I asked the manager to comp the adult meals also, as the food came out so sporadically that the meal was not enjoyed. Nicole refused to comp the adult meals and brought us our $87 bill. We handed over a credit card and let Nicole know we would not be returning and would discourage everyone we knew from dining there. When our receipt is brought to us to sign, it’s now magically $107. Nicole took it upon herself to charge an 18% gratuity. We requested it be removed and she tried to tell us she could charge “whatever gratuity I want on any part over six.” There was no automatic gratuity signage posted on the menu or visible in the restaurant. We demanded she remove the gratuity as we have no problem paying for the food we ate, but she cannot simply take money from us. She became very flustered, thinking she was simply going to one up us and slide in an extra charge. She could not figure out how to take the gratuity off, so ended up voiding the entire transaction and attempted to insinuate we could somehow not afford it. This gave my husband and I a good laugh and thanks to her arrogance,...
Read moreCame in on a Sunday afternoon. Bartender was very nice. Pretty cool atmosphere for a sports bar. Draft beer was pretty solid. THE CHICKEN SANDWICH IS A JOKE. A frozen patty of McChicken. It's not even a real chicken breast, very thin, ground up chicken like McDonald's chicken nuggets, UNBELIEVABLE. I ran into the same thing at their other bar in Powell, figured maybe they would have some better food over here... Nope.... Maybe it's to keep food costs down, it's only $13 so can't complain a ton but I'd pay more to get better quality any day.
All of the food seemed like super fast-food bar food. The pork sliders are from a bag for sure. They tasted alright. The sauce covered up the sub par meat. Wife's burger was surprisingly good to her, cooked at a medium temp which was nice(considering finding out this is the same ownership as the bar in Powell that we had a not great experience at). Again, surprisingly, they got the fried stuff right, tater tots and fries were pretty good.
The bathroom was NASTY. Smells like piss really bad, the urinal is literally coming off the wall. No soap in the men's restroom, and then my wife tells me later, no soap in the women's restroom! Told the bartender and she said, oh okay, and then went about her day. Who got this place ready for service today???
I personally despise a place that has no paper towels to wipe your hands off on, and the bathroom door opens IN, so everyone is grabbing the door handle with wet hands...a simple foot grabber at the bottom of the door would be an easy addition, but what do I know.
This seems like a VERY kid friendly place which is fine, but I can only imagine the irresponsible parents that go here to drink and let their kids run around. They have a lot of kid oriented things in this BAR.
With subpar food and nasty bathrooms, probably not coming...
Read moreWent to the Lewis center location after a baseball game. I sat with 3 younger kids at a separate table from the baseball team and rest of the parents. We were able to order our food before the rest of the party. I debated between the fish and good burger. I got the fish becuase the waitress said it was good. Big mistake, the fish was very dense pre made patties that were not tasty. My fries were cold and hard. Our table got a burger with fries and two tender meals with onion rings. All were freash and hot Ok to good, but not great at all. The player that ate at the big table got the tenders dinner, fries and cheese sticks. He said the food was horrible becuase it was burnt. He showed it to me and it was definitely well done. We will not return and not sure why a sports youth team would/went there for food after a game. Can not recommend for a large party. If you go, do not...
