Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Orange

Me and this guy (sounds better than "This guy and I..") stopped-by here to get a couple of sodas and maybe some grub, I don't remember. It was a quick stop during an afternoon of day-drinking, which is usually every day. The day-drinking, I mean, not the stopping-by. This review goes out to all the day-drinkers.

There is something kind of perfect about getting your grind on late late at night after a party or a concert. The go-to spot is, of course, Jack in the Box for some greasy tacos, Del Taco for anything or El Conejo (remember that spot?) for everything.

Day-drinking is different. The sun and the heat, the traffic and the crowds demand a place more immediate. With big cold fizzy drinks. So, we went to the closest place, which happened to be this Carl's that day.

The service was good. They were quick and attentive. They made sure we didn't have to stand in line, I think the other people in line had some problem with loud voices or personal space, or something. The manager gave us his personal attention. He made sure they got our order correct and they even reminded us which hole the ice comes out of and which one dispenses soda. They also very kindly escorted us back to the front door so we could continue on our way.

It was a nice visit and I would definitely go back. I just don't seem to remember exactly...

I had just ordered from the drive thru and came home to eagerly enjoy my burger and fries. Oh how I do love Carl's Jr. golden crispy fries! 🍟😀 It's the one thing that keeps me going back. 😏 Unfortunately tonight will be the last time I will go to THIS location that is a mere 4 minutes drive from my home. 😧 Upon coming home and opening my bag of goodies, what i found instead was a collection of tiny itsy bitsy soft barely warm fries that looked like yesterday's leftovers 😲. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed, but hungar got the best of me so I hesitantly started to eat them anyway. That was a mistake. It. Did. Not. Taste. Good. 😱 I couldn't bear to finish them and proceeded to unwrapped my burger. My burger that I recieved not more then 8 minutes ago is now almost cold and we're in the middle of a heat wave in summer. I started to think what did I do to deserved this poor quality of food? I was polite at the drive thru always saying please and thankyou when ordering, yet I received such inedible food (ok, I'm sure if i force myself I can eat them so maybe inedible is too strong a word. But anyways). Was it because I asked for no onions on my burger? 😞 Well, what ever the reason may be, I don't think any customer should be subjected to such kinds of food.

I've become so disappointed with this location. We live two blocks from here and its been our go-to-place for as long as I can remember. My last six visits have left me with a cold famous star each time I've gotten home. Tonight is my last visit to this location. I thought I'd try the All Natural Burger to see if my luck might change. I took two bites and threw it out. It was cold, soggy, and drenched in mayo, mustard, ketchup. When my husband and I eat out, its because we've had a long day and are too tired to even make a salad. We're too tired to return the food. I guess I'll make a salad. Thanks once again Carls Tustin/Katella. You've lost two 20+years customers. Not wasting one more penny on...
