Heemo 1 Katella — Restaurant in Orange

I've already given this place a great review. However, it's time for a new year, a new era, a new situation...

Heemo is a presented as a traditional Korean/Japanese Sushi Ya style eatery with some fusion items on the menu and timeless classics paired well with the current "To-Go" atmosphere.

All rolls and sushi are 1/2 off. They're quick and the quality is an A on the alphabet.

I've never had a problem with my over 138 orders because back when I was remote support for a phone company I was ordering from here 3 times a week sometimes 2-3 times a day depending on the hours. They were great with the service and remembered my name after the first few times. The managers know what you're talking about when you ask about some customization to your orders so it's no stress no mess in most cases.

I was lucky enough to get into their "Soft Launch Grand Opening" because I would loiter around the place every few days before they opened (the guy with the 8-Bit Mario on the hat checking in while they were remodeling the place) and I had some of the great stuff they've had to since pull from the menu but that doesn't make it any less of an awesome place! We went to Heemo Sushi with our friends this evening because they recommended it.

Restaurant can accommodate small or large groups.

One thing that I noticed about this restaurant is the rolls are bigger than other sushi restaurants that I typically frequent

Pros:

Service- friendly staff Speed- our food came out pretty quick Food- great selection of rolls Chefs and owner- very kind to send two entrees our way on the house Value- reasonably priced we get 11 people for $225

Cons:

Took too long to get the menu but I will let it pass since they were busy

We love sushi but have been eating at same familiar restaurant for years. So, now we decide to try new place. We chose Heemo because of 4.6 review... And we are glad we did! Their sushi, rolls are so good that we wish we knew this place sooner. Despite the 50% off, the quality is amazing and the rolls (hand and cut rolls) are big with plenty of fish. We finished every bit of the food. Then we ordered to go the following weekend (to avoid the long wait at the restaurant). This time, the gentleman at the cashier forgot to put one order of hand roll in my bag. When I came back, he already had my rolls on the counter and sincerely apologized for the error. The food was still fantastic, but what triggered me to write this review was that the cashier refunded my money for the rolls! It's a small amount, but it was the level of fantastic customer service that earned them 5 stars from me and our family will definitely keep coming back to Heemo, our new...
