I love El Pollo Loco in general but this time the chicken in all of our meals was very overcooked and very dry. I tried the "Keto Burrito" for the first time. Only 11 carbs apparently! It was enjoyable eating a burrito again, since I'm low carb, I usually only get chicken or one of the salads. I like that they offer low carb options! The burrito was pretty good.. except for the dry chicken. Another disappointment was that the avocado salsa is different. It's thinner and it's WAY TOO HOT. All the salsas seem less tasty overall and all much hotter than in the past. There used to be fresh cilantro in the pico salsa. There's very little taste to it. The new "cauliflower with cilantro side" was also lacking. The picture showed actual cilantro in it, but it was completely white with no evidence of cilantro. It was very bland. Restaurant was clean and service was efficient but a little slow. (We ordered inside). There were a few people eating inside but the drive thru was busy.

Horrible service and food, The cashier was Karen and she honor her name. She is young Hispanic pale woman, maybe sound 25-27 years old. Very shorten bossy tone of voice and face like if she was smelling feces. I proceed tolerate because my kids were hungry and it’s the only stop before jumping in the fast track heading home to Riverside. After taking my order, I was skipped three times and one order order the same thing than me. Tacos dorados, and Karen again and asked how long it will take she said we are waiting on your tacos dorados. But she made no effort to check if they were coming or why the hold up. At the end once we hit the food. Tacos were burnt and disgusting, the taste was like if they were boiled days ago. I always try to avoid eating out because of this. Nasty food and service. My flautas are 10 times better than this tacos dorados. I will wait longer in the road and cook my own. Never coming back to this place.

So about once a year I retry El Pollo Loco (which I swear I loved as a kid but as a grown up it has never lived up to my memory) so tonight I was excited to try their new fit bowls and my standard BRC burrito. First of all, the picture and menu description are a little decivieng- there is very little protein, the avocado is more like guacamole, and it's on a bed of (mostly) ice burg lettuce. So disappointing, they could have easily made it delicious, but instead it was mostly lettuce. To top it off the guy taking my order forgot my burrito. Sad. I would recommend smaller family owner local places for really good grilled chicken- you'll get more food, spend less money, and it will be more than just lettuce.

I am really disappointed with the Supervision and Management of this particular El Pollo Loco. I order to Tostada Salads, a Side of Chips, and Two Chicken Rolls, they only gave me three Avocado Salsas. I asked why only three, they said because you can only have one salsa per menu item. With my education...I counted that I ordered FIVE menu Items. When I questioned the staff, a shift supervisor came over and was extremely rude. The supervisor stated that the salsas are now in larger containers and that is why we only get three. Then, I offered to pay for additional salsas, I was told that they could not sale the salsa. I ordered three street tacos and asked if I could have three Avocados Salas with the the Three Tacos, the Shift Supervisor said they would only be able to give me two, because the street tacos are small and the salsas now come in larger containers, I then asked him to cancel my order, I cursed at me slightly under his breath. His entire mannerism and attitude was unprofessional at best, and that was before I had an issue with the Salsas. So, now I am going to explain why I wanted/needed several avocado salsas. I do not care the Cilantro Ranch salad dressing that they serve with the Tostada Salads. My stomach really gets severely upset. I use the Avocado Salsas as salad dressing. Even after I politely explained this to the Shift Supervisor, he acted like he did not care to hear what I had to say. He even turned and walked away while I was speaking to him. It will be a long time before I return to this particular El Pollo Loco. I will drive an additional 20 miles to avoid having to go to this...

Walk in order, to go. Ordered a 3 piece chicken tender, mac and cheese, and broccoli. Waited 10 minutes and my buzzer didn't go off. Asked them to check on my order, it wasn't even started. Waited another 6 minutes. A little frustrated at that point, especially with no apology from anyone, I took my food and left. As I was walking to my car, saw that they did not give me the ranch dipping sauce I requested. Went back in and asked for 2 ranch. Also ask to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was too busy because there was a line of five customers in the store and a busy drive-through, and she was acting as the line cook at the moment. In lieu of the 2 ranch dipping sauces, the woman gave me two packets of salad dressing and turned her back to me to go back to work, almost like I was bothering her. If I go back to the crazy chicken, it won't be to this one. update Spilled the ranch in my car seat. I'm taking my one...
