Poke Sushi — Restaurant in Orange

This appears to be a obscure "mom n pop" establishment and the food is good (to very good) as poke places go, ...with the chef (I assume owner) taking personal care to put out a nice, fresh and simple dish. You can build your poke dish using their order cards thus allowing choices of fish, base, hence salad and/or rice etc., along with toppings typical of most poke places. Their house sauce is pretty good.

Figure on 10 bucks for a poke dish adding avocado.

The location is simple and basic, but clean. Food is good, ...but with a lot of poke places popping up, they have their competition and its low on ambiance. Nevertheless, I go for the food, not the atmosphere!

They seem to be busy for lunch and on the few occasions Ive eaten there for dinner, it has been relatively slow with the restaurant virtually empty. They do take out and a handful of customers generally do walk in to pick up call in orders (an observation whilst eating in). I will never go back here to eat anything!!!! I have been telling my sister we should try it but I went in today and the food was no good. I got a crunch roll and a spicey tuna handroll .. its been about 4 hrs and I can still taste that bad fish in my mouth. The sushi was somewhat bare of rice for a slice sushi and the hand roll tasted like can meat with at bad metal taste that I stopped eating and left it because I didnt want to get sick.. The check was 14 buck with no drink .. ARE you kidding me!!!! I will go back to the sushi place that is on Tustin and will tell folks about how bad it is.. The gal who worked at the register was very nice .. Oh and I got a salad free with a clump of dressing on the top and i know folks eat with chop sticks but that was a first for me eating a salad with them . have to say as cheap as the salad was it was the best thing there... lost my...

The woman at the front counter is the meanest most unfriendly person, I have ever met at at any sushi-type restaurant. ( or most any restaurant for that matter)

After going over my order twice with her, she still got it wrong. We spoke about add-ons of any kind and I said no sauce so she clearly lined out the whole box with all the sauces . Then when I got home there was what appeared to be soy sauce on the rice. I could not eat it and ended up throwing it away She's very abrupt and confrontational. I didn't even go back and complain because I was so mad about the way I was treated just ordering from her.

This lady definitely should not be working in customer service of any kind!!
