CHOC Clinic – Specialty Care — Local services in Orange

The lab test was bad and son needed a treatment, we waited for an appointment for 2,5 months. Son is taking medication now and needed deeper consultation and treatment. We called day before and said we will be slightly late, they said 30 minutes late in case of emergency is fine, as long as we inform them. We came today 20 minutes late for 1 hour appointment, because of my surgery in the morning. 5th floor. We waited for 20 minutes for doctor response, then we waited 20 minutes for supervisor number. Supervisor is not available as well. And finally once our time was expired they said we have to reschedule our appointment. They said they don’t have any notes about our call day before. So, the doctor just refused to see us and decided to sit in his room and there was no direct conversation with him either. When we started asking what it’s happening, security guy arrived. They charge co-pay and parking, they cannot give a note for a school. It’s kids clinic. It’s awful. The worst service. Waste of...

Staff was friendly and I was there for donating blood which was difficult to find the area and a place to park but why it's a 2 star is I think it's disrespectful/disgraceful to charge for parking when you are there to donate and help them with being low on blood.
