I have been a fan of pioneer pizza. Now; however, I am completely annoyed. I ordered two pizzas. My total was $60.18. I ordered a side by side which I believed was $24.49 and a Margarita ( made to order for pioneer) with Basil, Mozzarella and Tomato’s as an extra. That would make that pizza over $35. I asked for extra crispy.

When I picked up my pizza there was no Basil on the pizza I inquired why and was told “sorry we are out of basil, have a good evening”.

The pizza was not crispy and not made to order. The level of disappointment I had drove me to write this review. Instead of calling me back and telling me “we are out of basil” they expected me to accept my order at a price almost $10 greater than a pizza on the menu, without any sauce as well.

No effort to fix the situation or provide a solution and completely overpriced. I am not sure I will ever go back. What started out as a bang of a place is ending up as a flash in the pan.

One undercooked half and half pizza. Another undercooked pizza with no sauce, only cheese and small tomatoes. At a premium price, not made to order.

Sorry Pioneer, you’re closer to little Caesar’s in pizza than pioneering a...

I've been here many times for take out. Generally I've gotten pizza by the slice and it's usually pretty tasty served by friendly employees. My last visit was pretty terrible though. After working a long day, I called ahead and ordered a sandwich with jojo's. Instead of charging me $2.50 for the jojs, they charged me for an entire side ($5) plus and extra $1 for ranch. Seriously, who charges for ranch when you order jojo's? Anyway, when I picked it up they weren't very friendly at all and pretty much just pointed to where my food was waiting, for me to grab it. It was only once I was half way home that I realized I had been overcharged and that the sandwich was really over cooked and actually hard to bite through because of it. Historically I have been a happy customer here but after this experience I'm not at all likely to return any time soon. Hopefully everyone else will have...

First time trying pizza from here. We decided to get the taco pizza. Where to start, first what their online menu says the price is, is in fact incorrect. The guy on the phone informed us of this while we were ordering, the prices have gone up. Secondly, when we got the pizza, we were surprised to find that we had baggies of tomato slices and chopped browning lettuce as well as a small bag of doritos for us to assemble our pizza with at home. Doritos was definitely not expected for the pizza and we had no idea we would be chopping the tomatoes ourselves. Overall, a huge let down. The pizza itself wasn't bad, just not the experience we anticipated for a $40 pizza. There was nothing noteworthy or exciting about the pizza once we finished putting it...

Nice place to grab some fresh made pizza! Crust was wonderful and the toppings were on point. Not what we were expecting when looking for a 'dine-in' restaurant but glad we stopped by! The place was nice and very clean! Service was good. I would note that this is more of a bar style restaurant so seat yourself. There is also take out is available. Also had the Caesar and Italian salad. Good salads. Drinks will cost you more than expected. I rarely look at drink prices for soda as most places are in the ballpark of each other, but Pioneer is a little more pricey for just a soda. The pizza is a little high but with the value. Worth going to again but we would order water or a single soda to share next time.

Michelle is the absolute best bartender around. She is quick to recognize you upon your entrance, sometimes before you even enter if you happen to be a regular! She is very observant to all her surroundings and so connected to the clients and community. It’s a true rarity to find a server so attentive to your needs . The food is equally good and you’d be hard to find a better selection with as good service. Give them a try and you can’t be disappointed as it’s a gem in the rough. Michelle is again the best and the quick efficient service you can’t beat. If you’re not sure what to order go for the calzone. You won’t be disappointed.

Pizza is solid but the sides are not worth the money. Tiny portions even on the large sizes of wings and salads. Edit: went back to try again... got a pizza that had toppings added AFTER pizza was cooked... the pizza was not even fresh pizza was cut salami wasn’t. If you make a mistake own it and make a new pizza don’t try to cover it up and insult our intelligence. We’ll stick to papa Murphy’s.
