Stumbled in for breakfast. Warm greeting not long after stepping in at 7am and some pleasant customer service. Sometimes ordering Mexican food is a chore because my pronunciation is just so bad at times I know I'm making a fool of myself. The woman who was helping me was patient and more polite than most have any reason to be at 7am (given: as with any interaction ymmv if you're rude to someone they may not be so keen to go the extra mile for you). Overall impressions before getting to the food: while I've not checked, the service feels like a good mom and pop operation, patient, polite, inviting and helpful. While I generally don't pay much attention to decor when I've good food in front of me (turn out on food was fast enough my eyes wouldn't have had much time to explore) the place is very clean with little if anything to find fault with. As for the food: came out hot, fast and good. Had the chilaquiles with eggs and steak with Mexican cocoa to drink. Would return to explore more...
Read moreIt's ok, this used to be a family owned coffee shop but their daughter's health took a turn and now it's simple Mexican food spot. A little overpriced, even when there is no one there the parking lot is overcrowded with no easy way to get out, and their veggie option (1) is a pico de gillo in a tortilla at about 8$ so not worth it. I come here for a breakfast burrito which ranges from 7$ to 10$ but for some reason mine always comes out to 15$ ( they are not that good of quality) and anyone who buys breakfast burritos knows that's ridiculous for one breakfast burrito. This last time the lady that helped me was nice but it's not usually what I walk into which is why I do not come here often. plus fajitas is down the street and no one will try to hit u with their truck...
Read moreWe went here when they first opened, and it was pretty good. However, we went this week, and it will be the last time. The prices are printed so small that I couldn't see them on the board. When the server gave me the bill,as soon as we ordered at the counter, she pointed out the gratuity section for me to tap while standing there watching. Very uncomfortable! When we got our food, there were hardly enough beans to cover the section of the plate for them, even though they were thin and runny. The tamales that I ordered tasted like they were not cooked. The masa tasted raw, of course the meat was cooked, and it was ok. The quality and quanity did not match the price. Oh, by the way, my husband had to buy a bottle of water, they don't even...
