Actually on my way to Portillo’s and peeped this spot a few times and was interested in trying it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed and felt comfortable with the warm invitation. The way they have everything made in front of you where you can see it was very exciting and entertaining. All of the staff interacted with was very informative, super helpful, friendly and never made me feel rushed at one point. I ordered the mix grill a chicken shawarma sandwich and a burger combo and then I had to order garlic sauce because it didn’t come with anything. So the food was hot and made to order and didn’t take too much time. It took about 20 minutes for everything to be completed. Pricing I feel compared to the quality and actual flavor was way too overpriced. Tbh when I first walked in and seen the prices I automatically felt it was way overpriced but I thought to myself if the food is good and fresh, it’ll be worth it, and I don’t mind paying more for great flavor. The mixed grill first there are two different rices but both of them were cooked to the right texture but lack of salt and no flavor at all what’s so ever. The quality and texture and temperature and tenderness of the steak kabob was on point but what ruin it for me was the over powering taste of all spice I felt that was all I was tasting and couldn’t eat anymore of it over seasoned with literally all spice. The chicken looked so flavorful I had high hopes for it and it was well cooked and still so juicy but absolutely NO flavor or seasoning I could taste at all which was very disappointing since chicken is one of my favorite kebabs. The meat shawarma the put on top was favor dry and more than half the portion was over cooked tbh. Last the kefta kabob was not seasoned enough but at least I could taste a little of the seasoning but too dry even though it didn’t look like it. The hummus that came with it was a very skimpy portion and over powered with too much tahini. Salad wasn’t even a real salad chunks of lettuce with big thick chunks of onions a small half cut of a tiny cucumber and a half of a cherry tomato with a sprinkle of sumac and no dressing. The chicken shawarma sandwich was very disappointing. The sandwich was filled with more pickles than chicken and the chicken was not dry but again the overpowering taste of some type of seasoning they used felt like that was the only seasoning they were using that overpowered the whole thing. Also I do have to mention all the grease that was dripping was too much but I have to compliment the garlic sauce it was perfect not too watery and not too think not too much garlic it was literally perfect. The burger combo, the tomato on the burger tasted old and smelled bad the cheese was not melted at all the patty was breaking apart and was not even mid was seasoned decently the lettuce was gross and soggy the mayo they used was too thick and the onions were too much and too thick and too many of them and I’m and onion lover but the onion was just as thick if not thicker than the patty itself the bun was actually the best part of the burger. The fries I liked came in a separate box they were crinkled cut and actually really crunchy and seasoned well and the best tasting crinkle cut fries I’ve ever had. This also came with a choice of a can soda or water bottle. The way everything was bagged was so nice and easy to transport and durable so everything stayed in place. The packaging and presentation of everything was above and beyond expectations! Very nice and pleasant. I also peeped a kids meal selection which was nice to see to have that option. I also like how they have the main selections of meals right when you walk in that simple to choose from but if you go back to the register to order you still have a wide variety of options available for the most pickiest eater. I really wanted to like this place because it was so close to home and we don’t have many selection like this in our area but unfortunately I was very disappointed. I may give this place another try for the fried chicken.

Amazing Authentic Arabic Cuisine in a Cozy Mediterranean Setting: I recently had lunch at this delightful Mediterranean restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant offers authentic Arabic food, and every dish felt like a flavorful journey to the heart of the Mediterranean. I started with the fresh, vibrant salad, which was a perfect balance of crisp vegetables, tangy dressing, and aromatic herbs. It was a refreshing start that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Next came the star of the show: the shawarma. Tender, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with traditional spices, the shawarma was served with warm, soft pita bread that complemented the flavorful meat. Whether you prefer chicken or beef, both options are outstanding and prepared with care. The kabob platter was equally impressive. The meat was juicy and charred to perfection, with a rich smokiness that was balanced by the accompanying rice and grilled vegetables. The portions were generous, and every bite was infused with the authenticity and warmth of Arabic cuisine. The service was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's cozy ambiance made it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a flavorful meal. If you're in the mood for delicious Mediterranean fare with an emphasis on authentic Arabic dishes like shawarma and kabobs, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

We had to try this new spot everyone’s been talking about. Upon walking in we found an employee smiling and greeting us which is very nice to see. They have a huge array of Mediterranean food like steak, chicken, and meat kebabs. They offered a decent amount of wraps and sandwiches so I went with the zinger chicken sandwich. It didn’t disappoint. The mixed plate of skewers are very tasteful and flavorful. I wish the servings were a bit bigger. The skewer is served with about 4 pieces of meat per skewer. The restaurant did a good job of decorating the interior. It’s such a different vibe I liked it a lot. They spent a pretty penny on this place. Well done to the owners of the place. I recommend this spot. It’s located right off 159th st. And they’re plenty of parking and wheelchair friendly. They also have menu options for children.

Sad to give this a 1 star but need to share honesty.

Before I got into the negatives, I do want to say some neutrality. Food is OK. Flavor is all there and similar to many other Mediterranean restaurants in Tinley Park so nothing really stands out. Not a bad thing but doesn't help after all the negatives.

Now.....the negatives. I wanna go through our experience throughout our time.

First issue was the cashier. Now she was really nice and tried her best but she totally did not know what she was doing. Here is what happned: I placed an order for a chicken shawarma bowl. I noticed it was wrong so I pointed it out. She made the changes but I noticed the item was $13.99 not $12.99 which is what was posted. I pointed it out that it's wrong but she said it was a combo so it's $13.99. I didn't argue further but it wasn't until we got our food that she didn't put in the bowl but a chicken shawarma plate instead... my husband asked what was the meat in the "Meat" Shawarma but she couldn't answer the question. She kept reading the menu back to us. I even asked if it's beef or chicken or lamb. When we got the food, we only got chicken so we never knew what the other meat options were. she got our items wrong a couple more times so we had to keep correcting it. when we were paying, she kept telling us that it was offline, as if we knew what to do. We just shrugged. Finally payment went through but she kept asking us like we knew how to use their payment system.

Kitchen took wayyyy too long. After placing our order for 3 items, it took at least 30 mins to get our food. The kitchen is open for customers to see but we kept seeing the cooks running back and forth. The cashier was constantly talking with kitchen staff trying to figure out orders. There were more times I saw them trying to figure out what was on the receipt than actually cooking. The cashier and some other lady came to us a couple times trying to figure out what we ordered.

There was one questionable cleanliness moment where we saw one of the cooks drop the grill scraper on the floor then pick it up and used it again on the grill without cleaning it....

The chicken filet burger had wayyy too much sauce. It made the the whole sandwich soggy and bun fell apart. Not worth getting.

Despite being a new restaurant, the dining area looked worn out. There were scuffs all over the walls and tables had scrapes in it.

Not really a total negative but it is for me: overuse of AI images. Some of the menu items shown near the cashier were definitely AI. Lots of the decor images were also AI. While that may not be a negative to some, to me, just shows lack of care and personality to a restaurant. They'd rather pull images made by computers to decorate the shop rather than take time and money to properly decorate it.

Anyways, I don't think we'll ever be back nor do I recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other places that have food that stands out and much better service. We've been to many restaurants that recently opened and while service will always be a little rocky at first, this was the worst I've ever...

Male and female at register completely ignored me. I smiled and said hi excited to try this new place, the lady gave her back to me without saying hello, I'll be with you one sec. The man was standing there with this look on his face not trying to even acknowledge me, I said hello and he didn't even blink just stood there cold. Next, thing you know a group of like 5 men came bum rushing to the male register they were all fighting to pay and I guess they asked to speak to the owner and chef and it looked like they were congratulating him which is fine but they were so arrogant and um hello I was in line waiting you could have taken my order but he stood there waiting to serve them, the lady never came to me so sadly I didn't get to try the food and I left. Look, like they didn't want to service me so be aware that you might not be welcomed in their restaurant. Never have I felt so uncomfortable, I'll stick to Sem Sem or Zwar Restaurant, they are welcoming, nice, humble, and treat you like everyone. Very disappointed to have to experience this kind of treatment. Don't see this place staying in business if this is what they plan to do when it comes to service. Thankfully we have more restaurants near by so you can get what you crave but bummed cause I was excited and was ready to support a restaurant in the neighborhood, but it was just Rude and unprofessional, I never expirenced something like this so I was pretty shocked. I wish them the best but I think their business will struggle a few months from now unless they become people friendly and not have you stand in line like your a...
