Dan D Jac's — Restaurant in Orland Township

Tried to come here yesterday to do karaoke night for my friends 23rd birthday. While my other friend and I were next to go in line, the bouncer scanned our ids then handed our ids back to us, proceeded to mumble something then shut the door in our faces. He continued to let other people out and just ignored us. When I asked why he wasn’t allowing us in, his reasoning was “Jessie White hasn’t been the Secretary of State in years” implying that our ids are fake yet they scanned and were indeed valid. I then called shortly after and a woman answered. I explained to her my situation then she rudely said “Well you should know who the current Secretary of State is”. Completely missing the point that my friend and I were born in 2001 and we are 23 with valid ids. Very unprofessional, extremely disrespectful and overall a horrible way to end the night. We drove 20 minutes to go here and we will never come back. Seriously do better because the reasoning on being denied was definitely not legal and seemed...

I came here on a Saturday night. Karaoke night. It was fairly busy, but bar service was quick enough and quite friendly. The patrons were all having a good time and were supportive of those going up to sing. Usually karaoke is a good way to get a crowd drawn in on a Thursday night at most bars but Dan D Jac's has it going on Saturday. If that's what you're looking to do, I'd say look elsewhere because the pompous Dj will be too busy doing shots with other patrons to take song requests especially if you're going to confuse him by trying to put in more than one at the same time. He won't be bothered trying to do his job to accommodating your good time in order to play you songs over the blown out speakers that cover the bar side of the room. Maybe if you bribe him by fueling his on duty drinking binge he'll be nice enough to actually keep track of more than one thing at a time on...

Never been here b4 today but down to earth people super cool People in there pretty much roots from the midway area “city” out in Tinley. southside as u can imagine in the best way , met the owner Ray was a G entelman , great friendly bartenders and they were were so nice. And very hospitable And service was fast Didn’t get to eat there but the atmosphere was sick as hell plus I got a dance floor which we got a chance to use and it was so fun no judgement and trust me if anybody would be judged it would be me I would go back without thinking that’s a spot fr fr but thank you guys for the good night I thought I left my girls wallet there and they checked for us but we found it honest people good business clean establishment that’s the joint out in Tinley What up ray (the owner) Real people real fun and goddamn they gotta...
