Went here for hibachi lunch to celebrate my brothers birthday. It had been years since the last time I had eaten here. From the food, prices, and staff I can tell you it’s not the same hibachi place I remember going to. And I will never be a customer there again.
We had made a reservation after seeing their reasonably priced menu for hibachi lunch on their website. Once we were seated and given our drinks, we noticed the lunch menu prices were about 25% higher than what the menu on their website showed. We could’ve easily just got up and left, but the dinner was planned and we did not want to be rude to the restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the food at all. The fried rice was plain and chicken was extremely dry. They didn’t even offer a birthday dessert which I thought was unfortunate.
Their menu clearly states they automatically add gratuity to parties of 8 or more, and my family was a party of 6. They still added gratuity without telling so we ended up paying that on top of tipping. Extremely sketchy and unprofessional. We called afterwards to express our concerns about the misleading menu prices on their website and kept getting different answers. One lady said to not go off Google for their prices and we explained to her we pulled the menu from their direct website. The man who spoke to us later told us their website isn’t updated. So why wasn’t this told to us prior when we called to make the reservation? We were then told to dispute our order with our credit card company and then got hung up on.
Definitely not the Fuji Steakhouse I remember it being years ago and I don’t recommend anyone to eat there. Use your money elsewhere and go to different hibachi place that doesn’t mislead menu prices and sneakily add gratuity charges to parties less than what they claim they do it to....

We went for my nephew’s birthday and had reservations. However, after standing unnoticed for 10 minutes or so just to check in, I apparently inconvenienced the host/manager by trying to get his attention. 30 minutes later, we got seated. Ok no worries, we’re just excited to be there w my special needs nephew (well-mannered and loved by everyone who meets him) who had never experienced all the hibachi fanfare. My mistake, apparently, was mentioning his birthday to both the server and the chef because the chef absolutely ignored us. After his egg flipping, I asked him what his record was. He looked at me, turned his head and COMPLETELY ignored me. Later, I asked him something else and I got the same! Nada! This chef proceeded to do all the tricks and give all the extras to the OTHER couple (the only other two at the table). Even that little fake squirt thing would have totally made our nephew’s day. But nope. When the chef started adding things to their rice to enhance the flavor and didn’t even ask us, my husband actually laughed. It was that blatant. So, we sure hope that couple’s tip made up for the absence of ours. And by the way, chef, yes he was 36 not 15 as u joked that he ‘looked’. He has a special type of dwarfism. Not cool dude.
After many years together, we must part ways....
Read moreHorrible experience! I went last year and had a better time. I’m not sure what the problem was but this guy was the hostess was very rude after we had made reservations. He claimed that they had been holding the table for a long time, in reality it had only been 20 minutes. We finally get to be seated and waited forever for anyone to even take our drink order. I asked the lady the difference between Golden and garlic and she shooed me off with a vague explanation. The food was not good as it was before. Just was not flavorful at all. I had to ask a bus boy for another drink and to get my waitress..it took forever for the ice cream dessert to come out. We didn’t even want it after waiting that long. The worst part of the evening was being accused for not paying our bill. Bill was $142 very over priced and we paid cash. Waitress stops us at door to say we didn’t pay. The nerve! Then to suddenly realize she made a mistake. She did apologize but the embarrassment was already there because you’ve made a complete scene in front of the whole restaurant...never going back to this over priced establishment where the...
