Marouf Cafe – Orland Park, IL This place rocks! What didn’t they do wrong? Exactly—that’s the point. They’ve done everything right, and done it well. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful, lush tropical ambience. The décor draws you in—it’s absolutely gorgeous. Employees welcome you with genuine smiles and a graciousness that makes you feel they’re truly glad you came to share in their offerings. The menu is generous, with a wide variety of hot and cold drinks to choose from. I ordered a pistachio latte, and it was nothing short of phenomenal—a smooth, velvety taste with rich, full-bodied flavor. I thought I might need to add cream and sugar-in-the-raw, but it was perfect as it was. The barista had the golden touch. One sip, and I was in coffee paradise. To pair with it, I chose a beautifully baked, glazed doughnut. It didn’t have that generic grocery-store taste—it was moist, fresh, and subtly sweetened with just the right amount of glaze. I’m used to seeing coffeehouses like this in downtown Chicago, but to have one in my own suburban neighborhood made me one very happy coffee connoisseur. Impeccable service, delicious handcrafted coffee, fresh pastries and sandwiches, an ambience that invites you to “sit awhile,” and plenty of seating options—Marouf Cafe is a gem worth savoring.

Love cozy coffee shops; this one has quite the set up. Comfortable seating, nice lighting and yes, GOOD coffee. I admit that I am used to indulging in sugary lattes and flavored cappuccinos from a popular chain. To taste an authentically spiced, no sugar, no cream cup of coffee was different in a very pleasant way. Dubai chocolate is all the rave right now and trust me, this shop has the BEST bars! I always look at a menu prior to visiting a new spot. I knew I wanted to try the iced pistachio latte and the pink splash! Close your eyes and imagine the freshest, natural pistachios, nutty, creamy, lightly sweetened and swimming around ice cubes. That was my latte. Or the richest, juiciest strawberries dancing in coconut milk. That was my pink splash. Both were great options. Bestie chose the same drinks but preferred a hot pistachio latte and enjoyed every sip. We each received a special heart shaped token of appreciation as a thank you for visiting and we each grabbed a chocolate bar. The pistachio pie was delightful. I cannot wait to go back to try the hot pistachio latte and a real cup of coffee. What have I been drinking? Lol.

I had an incredible experience at Marouf Coffee in Orland Park! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, setting the perfect mood for a relaxing visit. The coffee here is top-notch—rich, bold, and perfectly crafted. I tried their signature Arabic coffee, and it was absolutely amazing—smooth, fragrant, and full of authentic flavors. Their selection of specialty drinks is also impressive, with something for every coffee lover. Beyond the coffee, the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to recommend drinks based on my preferences. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The ambiance is perfect for catching up with friends, working on a laptop, or simply unwinding with a great cup of coffee. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, Marouf Coffee is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be coming back soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

I visited this coffee shop last night (January 1st) because of all the great things I’d heard about it, but my experience was nothing short of appalling.

While waiting to place my order, I witnessed the cashier, Ola, yelling at a male coworker in front of a packed coffee shop. She berated him, cursed at him, and completely humiliated him. It was shocking and disgusting to see this level of unprofessionalism. The poor employee was visibly upset and left his shift shortly after. I regret not standing up for him, and honestly, I feel ashamed for staying after witnessing such behavior. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and this business needs to do better.

If that wasn’t bad enough, when I picked up my order, the experience with another employee (a hijabi barista) was equally frustrating. I had ordered three drinks, but she only handed me two. When I politely asked about my third drink, she snapped at me, saying, “I KNOW, don’t worry you’ll get your drink,” before storming off. When she returned with the drink, she screamed my name even though I was standing right in front of her. Her rude and dismissive attitude made an already uncomfortable experience even worse.

The lack of professionalism and respect from the female employees is astounding. Between the way they treat their coworkers and customers, it’s clear that this business has serious issues. I won’t be coming back and definitely do not recommend...

As someone who lives in Orland Park, I was excited to see what this new café had to offer. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The moment I walked in, I noticed two grown men (who I’m guessing are managing the café) sitting in a corner, staring at everyone who walked in. As a girl, this made me feel very uncomfortable. The wait time was ridiculous—25-30 minutes just to order, and another 30 minutes for my drink to come out. To top it off, the drink wasn’t even what I ordered because the girl at the register (light brown/orange hair) clearly didn’t know what she was doing. When I addressed this, one of the men in the corner quickly got up and told me he was one of the owners. While he did have my drink remade, he barked the order at one of the workers in a tone that was far from professional. It then took an additional 15-20 minutes to get the correct drink. While waiting, I noticed workers yelling and even cussing at each other behind the counter. To make matters worse, the other man (a shorter guy) was loudly yelling at the staff, micromanaging everything. The whole atmosphere was chaotic and stressful—not at all what I expect from a café. This was such a disappointing experience. As someone who wanted to support a new local business, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back. This place needs serious improvements in management, staff training, and overall...
