Absolutely horrible. They are currently doing curbside pickup(no big deal love not having to interact with more people than I have to during all this). We placed an order online and it said 15-25 minutes and it’ll be ready, GREAT! Or so I thought. I called to let them know that I was here, and they told us to pull in line and they bring it out when it’s ready.(also no big deal). The real kicker here is that they came and asked the phone number for the order 4 times, and when we called again to ask when it’ll be ready because I ordered over an hour ago, they said they didn’t have the order. One of the employees came out to the car, asked my fiancée for the order number , and then proceeded to take my fiancées phone out of her hand and bring it inside.(what???) so after about a minute I got tired of it and went inside to grab the phone and see what was going on. Turns out, they gave the order to another customer. This is absolutely ridiculous. They told us 5 minutes and they’ll have another one ready. It took them not 5 minutes, but 20 minutes for them to bring us our order. I don’t know what happened here, the place use to be ran so smooth and was always great. Not coming back to Mo’s again after...
Read moreMO'S Chinese Kitchen is a popular spot for dining or pickup. There are 2 locations in close proximity. One being 159th St. in Orland Hills, IL & the other near 179th & Wolf Rd in Orland Park, IL. The variety of dishes ample, colorful and delicious. You will find satisfying portions to share and I believe home delivery is available. The staff prompt and food served within a reasonable timeframe. Restaurant cleanliness is important and I have not noticed a problem in this area in either location. I suggest the Kung Pao Chicken if your taste buds are inclined toward spicy dishes. In my opinion no one can hold a candle to MO'S Crab Ragoon, generous in portion and size stuffed with creamy whipped crab. A great appetizer that I always find to be perfect and never a hit or miss. I do recommend MO'S CHINESE KITCHEN a good option for families, date night or small gathering spot. Those who enjoy oriental cuisine will be pleased...
Read moreThis Mo's Chinese Kitchen location is a swanky modern resto in a strip mall, down from the grocery store.
For a Tuesday noon lunch, the place was not busy. I ordered the General Tao Chicken, which came with a large portion of battered meat, a sweetish sauce, and two broccoli florets. The chicken was remarkably low in salt. The hot and sour soup was good, with a little too much dark soy. My wife had the beef teriyaki bento (a smallish serving) with a interestingly arranged cucumber salad and large portion of California roll. To balance with her, I shared some of my dish. Both orders were $6.95 for lunch, a reasonable price.
Service was friendly and efficient. Pop jazz and classical play overhead. The big windows give a lot of light.
The resto was a short detour off I-80, all the better to route around a temporary...
