Just returned from our first meal at the new Priya’s Kitchen in Orland Park, and we couldn’t wait to write this review! The food was incredible, and the cozy, family-friendly atmosphere made it a truly special experience. We’ve been searching for a go-to Indian spot in the area, and Priya’s Kitchen has officially ended that search. The owner was so friendly and took time to guide us through the menu, sharing insights into the flavors, cultural origins, and regions of each dish we asked about and others he recommended. We started with two appetizers: samosas, which came with incredible chutneys—especially the cilantro mint chutney that was a total standout—and Chicken 65, which was bursting with flavor. A tip from the owner to pair each bite of the chicken with lemon-drizzled onion took it to the next level. For our entrees, we went big and got three dishes, even though there were only two of us (hello, leftovers!). First up was the butter chicken, a classic that often acts as a “test dish” for us at Indian restaurants. Priya’s butter chicken was a revelation—tasting truly homemade, with a smoky touch from the tandoori oven and a rich, authentic sauce. Next was the spinach paneer, which did not disappoint, with beautifully flavorful paneer cubes. Lastly, the chicken korma was packed with that home-cooked goodness, making it both flavorful and comforting. And the garlic naan? Probably the best we’ve ever had—soft with a hint of crispness, and the garlic flavor just popped. The quality was exceptional. The place had a great vibe, with several patrons of Indian descent enjoying their meals in a traditional way. It was a sign that we’d found something legit. The staff checked in on us frequently, and we even got to try an Indian version of Coke, which was a fun twist. All in all, Priya’s Kitchen is a gem. Amazing food, warm environment, and friendly service make it an absolute must-try. Highly recommend! If you’re not from the area, it’s worth the drive. And if you are local, well, lucky you!

I would highly recommend Priya's Kitchen. I don't have much experience with Indian food and the staff was VERY kind in explaining different things and suggesting some food to us since we didn't know what some stuff was. They are also very good about making sure the spiciness level was good for us. The owner even came out to check up on us a few times and he was very welcoming. We had Masala Dosa, Butter Chicken, Goat Chettinad, Cumin Rice, and garlic naan and it was all really good. The chettinad was my favorite but there is a lot of things on the menu I'd like to try. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks Priya's Kitchen for a great lunch.

This restaurant has quickly become my go-to spot for weekend dinners. The food is consistently flavorful, with spices that are beautifully balanced. I’ve tried several dishes on the menu, and my favorites are the curry, vindaloo, tikka masala, and their special biryani. The rice is always moist, and you can even ask the chef to adjust the spice level to your taste. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, while the staff provide attentive service that makes each visit enjoyable. The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and inviting. I always look forward to coming here for a warm, spicy, and satisfying meal.

This is literally a hands down the best Indian food ever. Everyone that works here is so friendly, They talk to you smile while taking, treat you with so much respect and offer so much hospitality. I've been here 3 times and I've been meaning to write a review. The first two times I ordered and picked up. This time I called to see if they were both been because it was the 4th of July and when I called to ask what time they would close it was going to be at 3 p.m. and reopen at 5 p.m. and I called at 2:30 p.m.. So the lady over the phone right away without hesitation told us to come and dine in, you could literally hear in her voice her upbeat happy caring personality. My boyfriend and I decided to come in but we wanted to be really quick and when we got there The lady that spoke to us over the phone waited on us, her name is Depa (I apologize in advance if I spelled her name incorrectly) Depa took the time to help answer our questions, gave us suggestions, and took her time explaining. Also the owner came to greet us and check on us to see how we were doing and how the food was. They were so patient, seriously the most friendliest people ever we just adore them. The last 2 times I went there, I experienced the same beyond exceptional customer service. Literally I can't even begin to explain how they go above and beyond. Thank you for all the hospitality and treating us very well. We appreciate you guys so much. I also thought it was so nice the owner waved at us when we left. Thank you guys so much we will be back. Oh and when my boyfriend and I go out to eat at other places he never says anything about food but today he said over and over how delicious the food is and how it's the best Indian food there is etc. Thank you so much Priyas kitchen you knocked it...

A Culinary Gem for Indian Food Lovers

If you're in search of an unforgettable Indian dining experience, look no further. This restaurant is a true hidden gem that exceeded all expectations and left me eagerly planning my next visit.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel instantly welcome. The staff here are nothing short of incredible—attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready with thoughtful recommendations to enhance your meal.

And the food? Absolute perfection. The highlight of my meal was the owner's suggested dish: the Lamb Rogan Josh. It was a masterpiece of flavor—rich, tender, and perfectly spiced to create a symphony on the palate. The Masala Dosa was another standout, with its crisp exterior and savory filling that had me savoring every bite. The garlic naan was a revelation, soft and fragrant, with just the right amount of garlic to pair beautifully with the Tandoor Paneer—a dish so expertly cooked that it redefined my expectations for paneer.

Each dish showcased the kitchen's dedication to authenticity and artistry. It's clear that this restaurant takes immense pride in delivering both exceptional taste and a welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the impeccable food to the extraordinary staff, it's an experience that you won't soon forget....
