Wendy's — Restaurant in Orland Township

I had 3 reviews wrapped into one over 5 years of going here and buying Wendy's. Sadly every order I have placed over the past 2 months lack everything that made Wendy's great.

Fries are never filled up, half ass workers are lazy. Chicken sandwich was not made as requested in Mobile order. Dave's single had mold on the burger, reported to Wendy's corporate. Employee standing around talking and on phones way too much, are they working or is this a hangout? Cleanliness in store failed miserably, sticky floor, food on table that were used previously but now nobody is there anymore. 45 minutes in store eating and nobody came out to the floor to inspect, refill or clean anything Employee are not friendly and ignore your hellos and thanks. Ignorant is how the employees are acting

I recommend cleaning house, for everyone including management and staff fresh with solid employees from other locations to train new staff properly and ensure the store is kept running efficiently and properly because I'm not buying at this location if it looks like this when I enter, but I highly doubt I will visit if the same employees cars are present as usual.

Update: June 2025. It's worse than ever. I'm the last 4 months I've had 2 wrong bags of food when they weren't even busy I was literally the only car to handle.

A week ago the night crew is arrived of their ass and can't even talk at the drive through window only Google with red eyes.

Baked potatoes out of stock until I put up a stink and it's a 7 minute wait to make more. I did wait as it was what we wanted.

Today Mobile order sausage egg and cheese, was given bacon egg and cheese. Go back to fix it and I'm given work back changing the subject midway through. It's bs at this store, they won't fix anything and they won't refund anyone.

Terry did nothing but give me stink before even wanting to fix it. For some reason when you ask to speak to a manager, every employee, yes 7 people shortened me to listen and speak when they wanted to. If you are going to gang up on customers with complaints or will not end properly.

I called the police before going there knowing they would do this and then try to kick me out. I told them this fact and they denied the would do that and then threatened to do it immediately after saying they would not.

This location needs to be closed down. To many people reporting issues that never...

Just left from the drive thru. Ordered a son of a baconator with lett and Tomato added along with a jr bacon cheeseburger biggie bag and one additional 4 pc nugget and FRESH FRIES. Son of baconator had waaayyyy too much ketchup and lacked ANY presentation at all. I go back in and the guy making burgers tries to be funny saying you didn't ask for no ketchup. I said since you put way too much ketchup I'll put it on myself so please don't add any to the new sandwich. I get the burger and there is no ketchup but he made sure to leave off the mayo as well after the cashier confirmed and relayed the message that I wanted everything else. On top of this, I get home and my jr bacon cheeseburger is not even in the bag at all! So my daughter has only nuggets and fries smh. I called to rectify the situation and no answer. This is ridiculous.

A couple of weeks ago, I received a cold cup of chili . I thought maybe give it another chance and besides its a burger so I'm sure that'll be right. Nope!

I really don't understand how they have stayed in business all these years. No matter what " new mgmt" and/ or renovations take place, service and food is usually between sub par and outright terrible.

I'm not one to complain let alone leave a negative review as I have managed a few restaurants and believe in giving " grace." But this is absolutely ridiculous because these mishaps...

Don't go there. Trust me. There is a Wendy's on 183rd Harlem and another one just south over the i-80 bridge on 191st and Lagrange road. I had my wife with me and she ordered 2 meals for us while i stepped out to have a cigarette. While I was out there I smelled weed. Not just a little bit, I mean it smelled like I was at a grateful dead concert in 1985. A few moments later I noticed 2 workers come from the back of the store. I didn't say anything because hey, my food is being made as these fools are outside so whatever. Well once we got our food we sat down and right away I noticed that I got a double instead of a triple. I checked the receipt and she ordered the triple so I went up there to tell the woman about the mistake. Well this girl yelled back to one of the guys in the back and said "i need a triple"....and what do you know? The tall, skinny, long-haired hippy started to make my triple. I kept my mouth shut until i sat down again and opened up the wrapper to see another damn double! I mean how in the hell can you make the same mistake twice? I know it was a different person making the burger but cmon. I just handed it back to the woman and said "just give me my $6 back"" I went to Mickey's on Oak Park Avenue shortly thereafter. 0 stars...
