Well I came in January and ordered “ chivo” (a goat meat plate). It was a to go order. After a few minutes the person at the from desk tells me that they no longer have goat. They offered something else for the same price but I wasn’t interested. Then after attempting to refund my credit card for approximately 22 minutes to no avail I came up with a solution. Management didn’t know how to refund a credit card purchase and o was a little embarrassed for them. I assumed the machines were new or something of that nature. Gave them the benefit of doubt. I then suggested why not just forget about it and just write “credit” on this receipt and I’ll remember to come back and buy here again. So they did…
Well today was that day. I ordered a Dominican Burger and another one to go to give to a friend. Afterward I was done I pulled the receipt and got ready to pay the difference. Then the young lady at the front desk calls the manager on her phone from the kitchen (as if hiding from me) and then she comes back out and says, “we can only refund you if it’s the same thing on receipt.” You have to order the same thing you wanted in January. 😵💫🙃Which was chivo (goat). I told her, “I never ordered anything. You didn’t have goat to sell or serve me.” I got on the phone with her to let her know what transpired and how her managers couldn’t refund me even though they tried for 22 mins: She insisted, “Sorry! It’s company policy.” I should’ve ask, “Was it company policy on not refunding a customer when you can’t deliver?” I honestly couldn’t even think straight. That’s usually what happens when people don’t use their reasoning after not providing excellent customer service. I thought I was doing them a favor by coming back. I thought to myself, I really don’t event want to come back. Service is everything and it seemed like they were trying to pull a fast one. Very strange and weird. I tried to advise her over the phone that she shouldn’t come to business that way. It looked very sad. For them. So because one burger was cheaper than what I had credit for I told them to just keep the other burger, charge me for the one burger and keep the change to tip the girls who served me. I even gave them my credit card for an additional $5.00 tip since I felt sorry for them working under that type of leadership. They couldn’t charge the credit card. Wish I had cash for them. That manager’s name who insisted on a made-up-on-the-spot “Customer Policy” is Leo .H. I really wish she can get it right and look ahead to how she can win customers, not show that poverty mentality of nickel and diming people. I think she’s the owner. A beautiful young lady too. I wanted to help her… I told her that if she doesn’t honor the credit written and promised from her staff I’ll have to write a review. One or the other. She said, “write the review.” Well, with sadness in my heart, yet bothered, here it is… The burger wasn’t good either. Taste like it came from a cheap spot. I only did three bad reviews in my life. The experience really has to Irk me to go through with it....
Read moreI order from here often. Food has consistently been good until recently. My last three orders have been poor quality. Empanadas have either been undercooked or overcooked and have had minimal filling. Items have been poorly packaged where beans have spilled all over and Cuban sandwiches been sloppy put together there the pork was not in the foil than on the bread. I have never had a problem when ordering DoorDash they always make sure they are dipping sauces and everything needed. This last order had nothing. No sauces for the Tostones no plastic wear beans lid was off a mess everywhere (second time) my chicken Empanada had no filling and was so hard to bite open. It literally fell apart.
The last time we picked up an order we had to wait 47 mins past the time it said it would be ready.
Very disappointing. I hope this review helps them pay attention to detail details and go back to the quality of food I was used to because typically this restaurant has very good food and pretty good service. I'm sure if management has changed or what has changed, but it is definitely not the same.

This is my second time to try this restaurant, but for sure is the last time, first time was okay but today I made an order to be delivered to my home, the order is advertise as an order plus one side and house salad, The order came missing the house salad, I called to check on the salad, first person picked up the call didn't speak English, the second one I asked her the order delivered without the salad, she said sir it's no charge for it I told her yes the order is missing the salad, she said hold on, and spoke with Spanish with someone and then came back to me trying to trap me and taking advantage of me not understanding Spanish, then acted she doesn't hear me, I told her multiple times I hear you very well, please don't act this way, then she said hello hello and hung up the phone, I called again and of course no one picked up the phone. It's the worse, cheat, trap and of course taking advantage of the customers, also the kibbeh is advertised as two and only came with one!
