China Star — Restaurant in Orlando

I made a pick up order with uber eats for this place . & when I received it was wrong. So instead of reporting the restaurant I decided to first give them a call & see if i could come myself to pick up my correct order. I ordered a shrimp broccoli with white rice & i got noodles with weird looking shrimp. So i call & this rude lady answered & I tried to explain my situation & she immediately was like "we dont do pick up orders" "no ubereats". So i said okay & she hunged up, so I decided to go check if i had called the correct location & i did. So i called back & then she was like yes we do pick up meaning she lied to my when i first called her. & even after i asked if i could come pick up my correct order she didn't say anything & hunged up on me again. WORSE PLACE EVER !!! I wont not suggest this place to anyone. They have terrible customer service & terrible food. I ended up contacting ubereats & they were able to help me with a refund. I used to live in Rosemont years ago. Recently I knew I was going to be in the area, so I read the reviews. I couldn't believe all the negative reviews was the same place I used to order takeout frequently. I had a craving for Chinese food and decided to order the combo Sweet & Sour Chicken and an order of crab Rangoon anyway. MISTAKE!!! The odor was so bad, I had to roll the windows down on the drive home. It looked delicious, other than the change to dark brown rice from yellow, so I decided to split the large portion in half and taste it. Way too much fish sauce! I couldn't eat it and threw it all in the garbage. I wasted my money. I should have taken the advice from the reviews. The pros are service was fast and the price was reasonable. Ordered through Yelp's Eat 24. We received our order quicker than we expected. That's about the only good thing about this experience. I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and I have no idea what I got. I'm familiar with chow mein having noodles (I believe that's literally what it translates to.) There were no noodles in this dish. Just a gelatinous mess of veggies and bits of chicken. Nothing was tasty or appeared to be fresh. Also no plastic wear. (We were in a hotel, so this was kind of important.) I am 100% regretting the $40 I spent on this.

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to post a comment about my experience with a restaurant. That's pretty telling on its own....
