Chinese Delight — Restaurant in Orlando

(This is a long one, but if you don’t want to read the whole thing yall, BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!)

This is the last time I ever cheat on my go-to Chinese takeout restaurant! I wanted Chinese Food today and this was the closest location in the area I was in. It was my first time ordering here and when I entered inside, the restaurant had a smell that wasn’t great. Whatever, I took it with a grain of salt. As I’m looking for what I want to order and reading through the menu on the counter, the lady who is taking orders decides to scratch with her nails, the dried up food or something stuck off of the plastic that’s over the menus. Then after she was satisfied I guess, she wipes it down with her hands. Again, I ignore this but I’m side-eyeing her cause ew. I decided on what I wanted to order and it’s the Fried Dumplings that comes in 6 pieces and the Bourbon Chicken combination plate that comes with an egg roll. If I’m not mistaken, the rice that comes with the combination plate is supposed to be fried rice. So why I opened up the container and it’s not fried? The bourbon chicken was alright, and the egg roll that came with it was the best thing that ever came from what I ordered and that’s sad. Because egg rolls are my least favorite things. But the worst part of this whole order was the fried dumplings that I ordered. The one thing I was excited about. Chile, I opened up the container and a burnt smell came from the dumplings. In the photo provided you can see they are very much BURNT on the bottom. I tasted it and why TF is it a freaking MEATBALL on the inside?! I looked through the reviews and saw someone else also ordered the same type of dumplings and you can see it’s a freaking meatball inside them!! The same type of meatballs you get served at Baby showers!! So now I’m devastated, and everything is a bust. I think they don’t do refunds so I just took that nasty food home and gave it to whoever is brave enough to try it and eat it. Never again will...

Affordable prices and good portion sizes. I usually get the same exact thing, the lunch special boneless spare ribs with fried rice (comes with egg roll or a can soda). I’ve also tried a few other things on the menu like the shrimp fried rice, bourbon chicken, pork fried rice, fried donuts, crab rangoons, chicken egg fo young, sesame chicken, lo mien, fried shrimp, spring rolls, and their homemade lemonade. Only thing I didn’t like/wouldn’t order again was the fried shrimp. They were mostly breading not much meat and 3/15 pieces were actually imitation scallops not even shrimp. Which I did not enjoy. The sesame chicken was good but could have been fried crispy so if I ever order it again I’ll just request that bc it was still good. The rangoons could use a bit more filling inside them but they weren’t bad either. Of all the items I’ve tried only the fried shrimp wasn’t worth trying/buying to me. I’ve never had a problem with the service. It’s family owned. The wife usually takes my order and she’s never been unprofessional towards me just a bit curt which I don’t mind really. The son and husband are usually more friendly/welcoming. I don’t need a place to ask me how my day is or say have a nice day etc, for me to consider it good customer service, as long as you are not rude. Piss off I never had a problem with them until new ppl came along I orders the peppers steak meal with no onions and vegetables but I ask the lady who was taking my order how much it was for shrimp to be add she said 3 I said at shrimp got home no shrimp guess what no shrimp so I call she talking about she add more meat because I didn't want no vegetables and I no but I add shrimp so she she didn't charge me but that my problem she got the order wrong instead her not listening she do what she wants to do and than she me and another lady confused her how my food was alright fix and she mess it up than y she going back and front and she getting loud like I miss her order than hang up so I call back now the husband on the phone so I explain he read back the receipt back to me even they didn't give me one I said ok but not mistaken she didn't add the shrimp he said ok we cook you the shrimp and you got play wait what no that how that go i pay 14.98 for with I order peppers steak combo add shrimp with no vegetables not for no extra steak cause I don't want vegetables and for this to a combo since when you got pick between a soda and egg roll I piss off poor poor poor service and rude and when I told him I do a review he said ok like he don't care!!
