On Sunday Dec 11th at approximately 8:30AM, I placed an order through the drive thru where a lady by the name of Peaches took our order through the intercom. Our order included about 5 drinks and 4 food items. 9 total items.
As we were asking for the last item in our order, another voice interjected on the intercom and said "How many more things are you going to order" in the most aggressive and intimidating manner. It was just so out of left field, the entire conversation was just so cordial with Peaches until this male voice started talking to us.
When we approached the window, it was a male employee who took our payment. When he spoke to us to repeat the total and to pull into a parking space, his voice matched the voice heard on the intercom prior. Setting that aside, you could tell in his non verbal cues that he seemed upset and irritated with the 9 total items we ordered that day. Once again, the whole interaction went without provocation and it almost felt like an attack like there's some sort of unwritten rule about how many items you can order in the drive thru. In my head, I compare our order to that of a family of 5 going through the drive thru? Would they too also get scrutinized like that?
When we pulled into the parking space to wait for our order to be brought out, I went inside to wait so they didn't have to come out. All to help in any way that I could. As Peaches gave us our order, Adrian said with emphasis "Yeah, they are waiting on the big order" with all the scrutiny you can imagine. Shortly after, I asked Peaches what the man's name was who spoke through the intercom. She confirmed that it was Adrian, apparently he is a manager there.
When we ate our order, none of the drinks had sweetners as requested, some of the food items were wrong. I don't want to say it was malicious or on purpose because we will never know. Regardless, orders can be fixed, but the nasty attitude is what crosses the line.
As for the gentleman who came at us with such rage and aggression, maybe you were having a bad day but you CANNOT scrutinize customers because you have to do your job, it's just bad business and a poor customer experience. Peaches did okay initially taking our order, she hung in there with us. But Adrian, you need to find another job man. You shouldn't be that angry at work, I don't think it's fair to either you or the Dunkin Organization. And if you are in fact a leader in that store with that level of intolerance and aggression, the employee churn must be horrendous.
Adrian, I wish you the best sir. My ask of you is that you reflect on your life choices because I want you to be happy. And today was not the best...
Read moreRude, horrible, and AGGRESSIVE!!! Just trying to have a wonderful Saturday morning, enjoy my day off and what not. I usually make my own coffee at home but thought it would be nice for my fiance and I to go to Dunkin. I had never been to this location before. Rosemary running the register was great and helpful. So I order a regular coffee a Vanilla latte and 2 donuts. Rosemary hands me the coffee grabs the donuts and we wait on the Latte to be made. Meanwhile there is now about 6 customers behind us. So we sit down and continue to wait... and wait... and wait. Mind you there are four other employees here that can help Rosemary seeing that it just got busy because it wasn't busy when my fiance and i got there. So I go to the counter where there are the other workers and ask, "Hi, is that Vanilla Latte I ordered 20 mins ago being made?" One young lady says, "Sorry I'm busy." Wow ok!? So I say, "What about the other three employees are they busy too?" Now someone that seems to be a manager steps forward and asks, "What's the problem?" As soon as she says that, I knew there'd be a problem. Alexa was her name. So I explain about the 20 min wait and that I'd like to have the Latte. Which then she says, "Don't tell me how to run my store while smacking her fist into her other hand as if she was going to fight someone and speaking like a black girl, but she's white as snow!!! I said to her, "Are you serious? It's just a Latte and are those your customer service skills? You wanna fight me because you're not helping with making a 20 min wait Vanilla Latte? Ok! Thanks. This person should go to classes for customer service etiquette or fired, especially if she's going to represent a chain store/franchise like Dunkin Donuts. Rude, horrible, aggressive was this so called manager, Alexa. Alexa, learn how to treat...
Read moreToday was the worst experience I've ever had at this location. I didn't mind going to this Dunkin because my prior orders were fine with minimum issues but today was just not it.
I had placed a mobile order, as usual, and it said it would be ready by 7:10 am. I got there at around that time and saw that my food was not ready at all. I gave them a few more minutes, which I didn't mind. As I waited, more people came in and waited in line. The customers weren't getting helped but eventually they did. What frustrates me is that they all got helped and got all their orders before me. Here I am, still waiting for my order.
The lady making the orders kept complaining as well saying that there were so many mobile orders and it was driving her crazy. Why do you have to say that out loud for everyone to hear?
Finally, after maybe of 20 mins waiting, the lady asks me if I was waiting for a mobile order and what I ordered. I had verified with her that yes, I was waiting for a mobile order.
While my visit there, the only thing I got was by mini bagels. At this point, I had given up on continuing to wait. Before I left, I had asked them if my order was ever gonna be ready. The person just looks at me and says "I don't know." I told him I was there since 7:10am and now it's 7:45.
In the end, I left the damn store...
I appreciate you guys working hard but as a customer, I didn't get a single apology or actual reassurance that my food was taking awhile and that it will be made asap. Nothing. I wasted my time waiting. I was hopeful. Because of all that, I came to work late and with nothing in hand.
Please staff better. Do...
