I ordered for 1st time yesterday. First up is phone problem. I asked lunch special she asked me 3x “huh?” She doesn’t know so has to ask manager, it was fried chicken so i said no I want Mexican food, recommend chimichanga ok ordered that. So go there I don’t know which counter to pay n pick up my order i have to ask 4 different people cause no one understands my English and it’s very loud with the music. I pay and it’s expensive cause I think chimichanga is lunch special. I had planned to shop at butcher n store but was too loud from music, everyone was rude short and not helpful so i got turned off now the food was good n fresh but I’ve never had food at Mexican restaurant with the least amount of beans n rice ! I’d have loved to have tried many items ! I live 5 minutes away so convenient too but their short rude service sucks and I won’t be back! I’ve been in food service since I started working I’m 59, and I’ve never spoken to customers that way even after I said first time here! Too bad they lost my interest cause I have many family n friends who look to me for help deciding where to eat! I’m disappointed and wasn’t worth $18 to be rushed...
Read moreThis is a restaurant inside of a market or a meat shop that happens to have a restaurant in it. You're surrounded by boxes and sacks of goods for sale but don't let that put you off the food is great! It's helpful if you can speak Spanish but if you can't you can point to the things you want on the menu which as descriptions in English and pictures. Their enchiladas with the Verde sauce are out of this world. The Verde (green) sauce is spicy but not burn your tongue off hot. The green sauce on the table however is bring your turn off hot but it's still very good. The platter of enchiladas had 5 enchiladas I chose the cheese enchiladas and ask for onions in mine . It came with the white cheese and the little bit of salad with a green lettuce avocado slices it was a platter for about 15.00 which seems a little high but I could only eat part of my meal. My brother had the burrito platter with beans and rice and it was humongous too. Two plates one beer and a Juaritos soft drink...
Read moreThe place is a Mexican themed grocery store & meat market plus they serve Mexican food. So I’m rating this place 5 stars for what it is. There’s plenty of beautifully decorated tables & chairs to sit & enjoy your food. Also, the waitresses are efficient and very polite. Whenever I find it hard to locate a good Mexican restaurant at a new place I’m visiting like in this case the city of Orlando, I just visit the local Mexican market & carniceria and usually there is where I find the best place to eat Mexican food. This place did not disappoint, the tacos where delicious, the cabeza, lengua, lamb 🐑, tripitas, torta, guacamole, and salsas where all good and tasty. In my group of friends there was a Palestinian, an Iraquí, a Venezuelan, and myself (Mexican). When the cashier lady saw us coming through the front door she asked us “what da hell is this, some kind of joke??”” Lmao 🤣🤣🤣. We all had a good time & enjoyed the food, the waitress had a positive attitude and was attentive...
