Lunch special well worth the price. Pork fried rice some of the best in town. Shrimp in lobster sauce comes in the styrofoam container, so beware of spillage when driving home. Still very tasty! Update: sesame chicken tasted like it was microwaved, definitely not fresh. Shrimp toast tasted burnt like the oil was old. The chicken wings and the Mongolian beef was the best and fresh. The Egg roll and the prok fried rice was good. The crab raggoon should have more filling. They are a hit or miss spot, but if you're hungry you will just eat it. I recommend trying each item before leaving the building and returning anything that doesn't taste right.

Not all Hop Bo’s in Orlando are the same! Visit the Hop Bo on Curry Ford and Conway for amazing New York Style Chinese. Egg Rolls are some of the best mouth watering egg rolls you will find in Orlando. My go to is Egg Foo Young and we also ordered Cashew Shrimp. The Shrimp was plentiful with amazing flavors. The Egg Foo Young came with 3 Pattie’s enough for lunch the next day with a top notch gravy. They have had the same cook there for years and they are more budget friendly than another Hop Bo nearby. Kudos to their management! They don’t offer delivery currently but very quick if you order ahead and worth the drive.

Classic American Chinese food! Hop-Bo has all the basics and more! Service is fast, food has great flavor and it's close to where I live. Hop Bo has become a weekly staple at our house. Each time the food is consistently good. Pictured is the Mongolian beef (which you can pick the spice level, but you need to tell them) with an egg roll and the Kung pow chicken (also spicy). Egg rolls are crispy and our spicy dishes were just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend as your go-to Chinese food place.

Ordered take-out this evening based in all the great reviews. Unfortunately this was, in my personal opinion, possibly the worst food I've ever tasted in my life. I would have rather had mall food court or drive thru Chinese.

We had Egg Drop Soup and Krab Rangoon to start followed by Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken for our entrées.

The Krab Rangoon had VERY little filling and wasn't very crispy or golden brown. I order Krab Rangoon whenever we get Chinese food, so I didn't expect it to be loaded with filling, but these had less than 1/4 tsp of filling in each one.

The Soup was scalding hot and didn't have much flavor. It was also just egg and broth, no carrots or onion. The little crunchy strips that come with the soup were quite stale and not crisp at all. Ended up dumping the soup out.

The Orange Chicken tasted like burnt plastic; we dumped it out after 1 bite each. The General Tso's Chicken tasted better, but still not good. It had a funny after-taste that we couldn't quite place. We didn't save the left-overs of this one either.

The chicken for both meals wasn't fresh or "real" chicken. It was almost like popcorn chicken (ground up chunks of meat held together by lots of breading).

The one positive is the price. For soup, appetizer, and two entrées the total was only $30. I the food were palatable, this would be a...

I am solely writing this review because of the absolutely poor service rendered to me upon calling in a carryout request. I placed an order by mistake at the wrong location, not realizing of course, until I went to pick up my order and found they didnt have it....shortly after reordering I was returning back home when I got a callback from this location. The woman who said her name was Lisa asked me about the order when I explained I thought it was a different location (the one on Hoffner). I get it was my mistake BUT in no way was I expecting this woman to start yelling about not calling this location again, that I hopefully figured out it was the wrong place and not to do it again. I don't know why she thought it appropriate behavior to speak with me the way she did, but it is and was not. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone desiring not only good food, but quality service. If you don't care to speak with me with respect I become concerned of your integrity as a business and person. What would you feel appropriate to feed me if you clearly lack that respect just in communicating with me?? I will be passing the word along everywhere I go in this city do not eat at this location. I am sorry for my mistake, but even more sorry that I had to experience this poor service and hope...

This WAS a great place for many years, pre-covid, but it appears to have declined in recent times. Years ago this place provided excellent customer service and some of the best food. While I can't comment on the food lately, due to the phone never being answered by the restaurant and DoorDash orders being canceled and refunded often, I've given up trying to order from this place. And given how the restaurant owner commented on these reviews expressing how he doesn't care about opinions, which is the whole purpose of reviews, then we can expect there won't be any positive change going forward for this place to climb up again. Businesses rise and fall all the time, and it appears this one is well on its decline.

If you want great Hop Bo, order from the one on Hoffner/Conway.

All these hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants are the same anyways no matter where you go, same food, same menu, interior etc, ya won't know the difference. They're franchises sponsored by the CCP, and they pull in all their immediate family members to run the place, then over time they open another store and one of them branches off and takes over that store, then they invite more family members ans close friends to run the place, and so on. The process repeats over and over...
