I just had the worst food service experience of my life, whether it was fast food or a sit-down restaurant. I placed my order on the mobile app right after leaving work, around 9:45 pm. I was coming from the Lake Nona area, so I was expecting that by the time I got to Curry Ford and Conway, my food would be ready. I was gravely mistaken, but that isn’t the terrible part; it was the service well, whether the lack thereof. So I’m sitting in the designated mobile order drive-thru lane, and I let about five minutes go by before I say anything because I know how it can be during the late-night shift. The lady wearing the headset looks at me, we make eye contact, and doesn’t even acknowledge that I just said “Excuse me, ma’am”… No hold on a minute, or I’ll be right with you, she just proceeded to do whatever she was doing before I spoke, and we made eye contact. I take the hint and drive to the other drive-thru lane with the automated system. I say “ mobile order” to the box.. Then the female who just ignored me voice comes through on the box, says, “You’re going to have to go back to the other line.” I tell her, “I was just over there, spoke to you, locked eyes with you, and you didn’t acknowledge me”… She goes on to say “ I’m not going to get my food if I stay in this drive-thru lane”. I reverse out of that lane and go back over to the original mobile order drive-thru lane. She has someone else bring me my food he then asks me why I drove off I tell him because I sat there and wasn’t acknowledged. I ask him what’s the female with the headset name, and he claims not to know it because he’s new. While me and the man is talking, I hear the rude ass lady in the background start yelling saying “go go go, move leave”. Now me and the female are finally talking face to face. I asked her for her name she then proceeded to rattle off about twenty names. I follow up with are you the manager she says no my next question is when will a manager be in, she hollers IDK while walking away from the window! I’m on the phone with corporate before I even make it home… If you have to deal with a tall Black lady with discoloration on her cheeks, glasses, and gapped teeth, leave the restaurant before you have to go through what...
Read moreIt was a group birthday dinner.Otherwise, it's been at least 7 years since I've been to checkers. While the food may be the same, the ordering process and the atmosphere have changed from what I remember. There's hardly any human interaction, which can be either a blessing or a disadvantage depending on the type of person you are. Sign at the door as you enter ushers you into an ordering kiosk, in other words, a digital menu where you pick and choose what you want. After you put your credit card information in,it pumps out a bunch of receipts, then you have yourself a seat wherever you desire and wait for your number to be called. Once you get your food... in order to get your drink, you have to unlock the machine with the QR codes that are provided on your receipt. An ingenious way to keep theft to low levels. Unfortunately, I don't eat meat, so I just had the grilled cheese sandwich, which was very basic, but excellent, though it's sort of hard to screw up a grilled cheese sandwich, LOL Trying not to sound like my father, I guess this is what we have to look forward to as far as the future of many eating establishments. There's nothing wrong with it. I'm just used to talking with an employee, and here you can skip that hole experience if you want to. Now the people I was with, we're all very happy with their hamburgers. They looked good and smelled good. My grilled cheese was excellent, and to be honest, the prices were pretty good with everything else doubling in price in today's market. This was a good value, in my opinion . Unfortunately, I won't be back as I am more of a vegetarian. Otherwise, I highly...

My order was a Small Number 2 Combo and a Medium Salted Caramel Vanilla Milkshake, totaling $17.99. Food Quality and Service Issues: Poor Food Quality: The fries that came with the combo were disgustingly fried in oil that tasted old and needed to be changed. Short-Changing Attempt: I paid with a $20 bill (cash). The female attendant (African-American, with glasses and long, black hair) initially handed me only a nickel ($0.05) as change and did not provide a receipt. I pointed out the error, reminding them I was owed $2.01. The attendant then reluctantly gave me the correct change, but only after I insisted. This act strongly suggests deliberate dishonesty. Unsafe Parking Instructions: Before the transaction, the attendant asked me to park on "the other side" to wait for my food. Based on the drive-through lane layout, the only safe interpretation was to pull into the parking lot. The only alternative "other side" would have meant going the opposite of the intended direction into the drive-through path, which is unsafe. When the attendant saw I was parked in the adjacent parking lot, she was visibly and auditorally upset. I request that management immediately review the camera and audio tapes for this time frame to address the issues of employee conduct and...
