EIGHTY TWENTY — Restaurant in Orlando

first of all was not greeted in a friendly manner. person at the register did not know what he was doing. laughed at me at one point when asked for my name. took down my cell phone number and said I would receive text. this was at 6:50 pm. At around 7:40 pm, wondering what happened and after everyone else ordered from different restaurants, I went to them and the cook stated "oh it's been ready for a while", I said did you text me? he replied, Oh someone picked it up. What? I do not have the order. He said oh yeah you ordered the burger no pickles. I said no i ordered the burger with everything and 2 orders of fries. At this point I requested a refund to which they said we don't do that. Cook decided to make another burger (which I told them I did not want). they confirmed my number. after 15 minutes I go back for them to hand me my order, which again, never ever received a text that it was ready. lo and behold, burger was not cooked properly and there was a hair in it. went back with my son only to be disrespected, belittled and still no refund. Asked for the manager, surprise he was not available. I will contact my bank for stop payment and NEVER EVER even consider eating there again. If I could give no stars I would. My wife wanted a burger for dinner so I Googled "best burger in Orlando" and this place was deservedly highly rated. So we packed ourselves in the truck and trekked all the way from the East side of Orlando just to experience their burger!

For those that aren't familiar with the area (we weren't), Google Maps doesn't do the location justice. The street level view is old and shows the construction of the new "food hall" in which Eighty Twenty now occupies a spot. There's a free public garage directly across the street, so parking is plentiful. I really liked the food hall itself, except that it strangely lacks a good option for dessert. My 3 star atmosphere rating is because Eighty Twenty deserves it's own location!

The burgers were made with high quality Angus Beef and were absolutely delicious! You really couldn't beat the onion rings and the fries were great too. The proprietors threw in some Mac N Cheese for us to sample as well. I'll be honest, I am not a Mac N Cheese person, but these were absolutely delicious and I'll be getting them again on my next visit.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Twenty Eighty during our vacation, and it was absolutely unforgettable! We relished mouthwatering classic burgers, crispy fries, and flavorful wings that left us craving more. As I sit here reflecting on the meal, I can't help but feel my mouth water — everything was downright delicious. But the real star of the show was the hamburger. Though I don’t usually go out of my way for burgers, this one was a game-changer. From the fluffy, fresh bun to the signature, savory sauce, it was hands down the best burger I've ever tasted!
