I recently took my aunt to Grain and Berry in College Park right after her long airplane ride, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for lunch. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, vibrant, and relaxing. The place was sparkling clean, which really stood out considering how busy it was at the time. Despite being packed, the employees were extremely friendly and surprisingly quick with our order. Their efficiency made the whole experience stress-free, which was exactly what we needed after traveling. The food was absolutely delicious!! fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Lettuce was a soggy mess. I think they chopped the lettuce so much with their pizza cutter it made it completely wilted. I understand chopping up the lettuce but it was excessive and may have been pureed, that’s how little texture there was with the other ingredients. Flavor was lacking, how can something so large be so bland? I couldn’t stomach more than half and threw the rest of the salad out. Also, the ladies working behind the counter while nice were gloved up touching everything under the sun with their gloved hands, taking orders at the register, touching the screen then back to making orders grabbing ingredients with the same gloves. Loved everything about this establishment. This location was about a month old when I went first time, staff was super helpful and conversational, variety of menu is excellent! I told a few people about it the day I went. They give out a free health shot to first time customers. Their menu is entirely plant based, but there is still something for everyone.
