SERVICE: Absolutely ridiculous. Waited at least 25 minutes for food court food. The people working had absolutely no sense of urgency or concern. Lady that was working the register had to be the slowest food service person I've ever seen. The food counter is probably about 10 people long, and everyone has their food but it too her forever to ring up every single customer. And then, promptly at 5pm there must have been a shift change. The person getting everyone their food just up and left. For 6 minutes there wasn't anyone even working the counter and the register lady was just standing there talking to an airport employee (black lady with very tight white hair, in case anyone can identify who she is) and even gave her a small cup of Mac and cheese and didn't charge her for it. Then the same lady came back and was face timing someone telling them over the phone what they had to eat here. Meanwhile, paying customers who were in a deadline to catch their plane were completely ignored. Finally a nice young lady arrived and we were able to get our food. My wife ordered the sausage stromboli and I ordered the garlic knots with cheese. Of course, since no one had been working the counter for 10 minutes, there were no garlic knots ready. I paid for everything and then stepped to the side to wait for my food. It was at least 5 more minutes before the knots were ready for me. Of course everyone else was getting theirs... 🤬🤬🤬
FOOD: This was better than the service. The stromboli was good. The garlic knots with cheese were VERY GOOD. I would order them again, but because of the experience with the employees I will NEVER...
Read moreI bought 3 bagels this morning and at the checkout you are asked if you want cream cheese OR butter. I made a life-changing error & chose 3 cream cheese cups.
One family member didn’t like cream cheese, so I again waited in line patiently (I never jump in and ask for condiments) for 10 minutes and asked for a single butter cup. FYI: I didn’t care if they charged me or not, I was willing to pay for it if necessary.
The bagels are $6 each so it would be nice to have an extra butter thrown in. The rotund & rude lady at the counter said very loudly “WE DO NOT SELL BUTTER!” As if I had not purchased food from her 15 minutes prior. She clearly did this to embarrass me or make me look like a loon.
I said “I’m sorry ma’am, I just bought 3 bagels with cream cheese but it turns out I need a butter” She said “YA CHOSE CREAM CHEEESE MON!” as if I had chosen an entire life path in a prior fleeting decision.
TLDR: Cashier refused to give OR SELL me a tiny cup of fake butter. I’m pretty sure the lady was actually Miss Cleo the former tv phone psychic.
I don’t know why she decides to hate the world, but I find it incredibly strange for somebody to simultaneously HATE their job while also COUNTING & GUARDING the artificial butter cups with her life.
Side note: She was very rude the first time around as well, but I showed her kindness and understanding and tried to be as efficient as possible by having my payment method ready and not...
Read moreMy dad and I were just looking for a quick bite before our fly. We were craving pizza so we thought "Why not here?"
The guy who was handing out pizza didn't make people feel welcome and wouldn't answer questions clearly. A lady with a child who was having a meltdown, likely because they were hungry, only had cash to pay, and the cashier said "No cash, only card." Lady responded "But I don't have card." Cashier responded back "Only card, we don't do cash" and just walked off as if someone else was going to deal with it.
I've worked in the pizza industry for years...If you give a damn about business, you'll know to put a sign that says "CASH ONLY" so people know before they order. My dad and I agreed that if we were that lady, we would have just taken the pizza and left.
It took 20 minutes just to get a slice of pizza, which was much smaller than it should have been cut for the box size. The food, for what it is, was fine. Not much else to say.
Please, if you are really craving pizza but don't like to deal with people who clearly don't care about customers well being, do NOT waste your time here. I understand working in a hot kitchen and dirty airport that it can affect your mentality, but it doesn't give you the right to be rude to people who are paying you for food. Terrible service, sloppy food, and probably an illegal tactic...
