The food was fresh, and the crew was friendly, but be ready to be overcharged w/o your consent. My kids and I got a breakfast combo that was listed on the sign as $10.69, expensive but not outrageous as airport prices go. Then we were charged an ADDITIONAL $1.99 each to change 2 of our drinks to orange juice (somewhat understandable but still weren't informed). But the real kicker was, they charged my son an extra $.75 for getting a fountain drink, and all three of us an extra $.79 each for "MD Breakfast Potato". I guess the drink and potato are not included in the upcharge from a $6.99 sandwich to a $10.79 combo, despite clearly being pictured in the combo sign? So it is literally anywhere from $6 to $8 for your drink and potato wedges. As a loyal Wendy's customer for 40+ years, it is incredibly disappointing to be blatantly robbed by a company I hold in high esteem, at least as far as fast food goes. I will never patronize the Orlando Airport Wendy's again. At least the Wendy's near my...
Read moreI ordered a Dave’s single meal, only ketchup and tomatoes on my burger. The casher repeated it back to me and i saw her enter it correctly in the computer. I walked to my gate about 12 gates away and my burger had everything on it. Since it was too far to go back i just scraped the onions & pickles into trash. I also ordered 2 small frostys. When the guy gave them to me i saw the lids weren’t on all the way. When i told him, i saw that the Frosty was leaking out and dripping. He tried to fix it by giving me one extra lid. I said “you need to take some out and then replace the lid” He said “i can’t remake it” Both frostys actually had more than what would fit in the cup. I put napkins around both cups and held them away from my clothes as i walked back to my gate. They were dripping on my hands and my socks.
I think those who work here don’t try to make the items correctly. Mybe they don’t care because they know people don’t have time to complain or to wait for them...
Read moreI recently stopped by the Wendy’s located in Orlando International Airport (MCO), Airside 3 by the B Gates, and had a pretty good experience overall.
I ordered the classic combo of nuggets, fries, and a vanilla Frosty. The nuggets were crispy and flavorful exactly what you’d expect from Wendy’s and the fries were fresh, and hot. The Frosty was smooth and creamy, the perfect treat for cooling down while waiting for a flight.
The wait time wasn’t too bad, especially for an airport location. Despite being in a busy terminal, the service was reasonably quick, and the staff seemed efficient at handling the flow of travelers.
Overall, this Wendy’s hit the spot for a quick, satisfying meal between flights. If you’re flying through MCO and craving something familiar and tasty, this location is definitely worth a stop if...
