had the pleasure of dining at Sunrise Cafe for breakfast, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff members who promptly seated me and made me feel right at home.

First time coming here was awesome, friendly staff, great food. 2 days later came back again, different server, a regular observed she must be newer cuz they didn’t recognize her. I asked if the dish I was looking at on the menu had any meat as I’m a vegetarian, explained I was unfamiliar with what “hash” was. Server says “no there’s no meat in that, just what’s listed on there”. My thought process is that it must be a potato hash or something. Food comes out, I take a couple of bites, sure enough it’s got meat in it. Server comes back around, asks how everything is and I say “hey I’m really sorry but there’s meat in this I can’t eat this.” To which she responds “well yeah, corned BEEF hash would be meat” and I say “right, had it been labeled that way or had you told me that when I asked you what it was I wouldn’t have ordered it, that’s why I specifically asked if there was meat in it.” A few minutes later she comes back with the check and a back handed “I GUESS I get how that could be a big deal to someone who doesn’t eat meat”. I called for a pickup order for my husband,was greeted with a hello from someone who sounds as if their life is falling apart(I was later told it was the manager), I told the manager” I’d like to place and ord-“ “ hold on” in an angry voice with a slam of the phone on a surface.waited 4 minutes and heard the manager scream at another employee “will anyone else get that god forsaken phone!?” A different woman then picked up the phone and I said to her “I don’t know who that is but I’m sorry you have to deal with her because she is extremely rude” then she said” it’s just busy she doesn’t mean to get like that” I said “ no ,mam,every action has a Choice “and if I’ll be damned this second woman hung up on me! If a manager can not conduct herself in a manner that a manager is expected to do so then she should not be a manager.
