McDonald's — Restaurant in Orting

I finally decided I did want to share my drive-thru experience from the other day. I know that stores ask people to pull forward on occasion to save time on their drive thru lines but it has been happening to me EVERY TIME I order and this last time was ridiculous. All I ever get is a McDouble meal deal with a coke, and this last time there was a truck and trailer who had already pulled ahead and was taking both of the pull ahead spots, and there was no one behind me, so when they looked out the window and saw that, I simply said, “well since both spots ahead are full and no one is behind me, I guess I’ll wait right here for my food.” Well the girl at the drive thru didn’t like that at all and said, “well since it is going to be a minute I will have to ask you to go ahead and pull right behind the truck sir.” Okay, I know you’re trying to keep your drive thru times low but this was a ridiculous request. BOTH SPOTS ARE FULL, THERE IS NO ONE BEHIND ME, AND ALL I ORDERED WAS A PLAIN MCDOUBLE AND FRIES. I pulled into the drive thru today and broke down ordering what would be my dogs last burger. Today was a hard day I had only ordered 2 things. One for my child and one for my dog. I was surprised when they asked me to pull to stall 1 but happy to have the few minutes to compose myself for the drive home. A beautiful person walked out and told me they asked me to pull forward because there was a warm apple fritter in there for me to remind myself there is still sweetness in the world on dark days like today.

Wow!! I want to give more than 5 stars! In my weakest moment in the midst of this awful pandemic and the unfortunate side affects of well lived, kindness was given. Compassion was shown. I hate that I have to come back and lower the rating on this place. This is one of the worst McDonald's I've been to, I understand the food will taste microwaved its McDonald's but my issue is the fact that I'm always missing stuff in my order and with there being no parking and a ridiculous line there is never a way to go get you order fixed without wasting another 15 minutes. I hope with the addition of the new kiosk style ordering they can divert manpower actually checking the order!!! Now you might say check your order before you leave, but that is hard without being that guy that goes through everything at the window because the parked customer area is always filled. The parking here sucks but they cant control that. The drivethru line can be twice as long as it looks because it will split due to customers entering from 2 direction. Make sure you check...
