Edelweiss Tavern — Restaurant in Oscoda Township

Absolutely wonderful little place! Service was amazing very friendly and the place was clean and honestly they went above and beyond! We called to see if they still did their bloody Mary's you can eat and sadly they only make them at sertain times of year but they checked to see if they could make one anyway for us and they did have enough stuff to throw us together 2 of them and man oh man we're they good 10 out of 10! Not only was it well put together the food was delicious and the bloody mary was spot on honestly one of the best I have ever had! So all this plus watching the staff with the other ppl in the restaurant like it was a little family you could tell they take pride in their job and it felt like home 🏡 I highly recommend you stop in here and give them a try i seen some other food coming out that looked pretty darn good can't wait to go back 😊 thank you Edelweiss staff and owner for making our anniversary a special one to remember.... this place is outstanding. great management and staff. updated inside (& back patio) and very clean. my wife raved about the bathrooms. food is truly outstanding. unlike most places up north, they do not even own a deep fryer. everything is made fresh without preservatives. several of our family members have IBS, and all of us raved how great and fresh the food is. this place & hilltop are the best 2 places to eat in the area. the edelweis owners (tony & his wife) are often there and are a lot of fun. they even jump up to help the staff when things are busy. also met the chef, because she was hanging out with the owners after her shift to watch the michigan game. we had a blast playing pool. good vibe and great customers. they often have bands on weekends and even they were...

This is our favorite restaurant/bar in the quaint town of Oscoda, near the shores of Lake Huron. Locals like us call it "The E" park in back and come through the red door. You're immediately greeted like a friend. It's somewhere you can come alone to watch a game on the many tv sets, or bring friends and family, play some pool on the two tables, have really good beer on tap or drinks, and excellent food.
