Dear Dairy Queen Management,
I am writing to share a negative experience I had at the Dairy Queen onDear Dairy Queen Management,
I am writing to share a negative experience I had at your 510 W MURDOCK AVE location. My friend and I came in for a quick treat after a bike ride and encountered unprofessional behavior from one of your employees, Candace.
After placing our orders, my friend asked to upgrade her cone from a small to a medium just moments after ordering, and Candace responded with a firm "that is not possible," while giving us a disapproving look. Throughout our short visit, she appeared annoyed and gave us dirty looks, making us feel unwelcome.
Since there was no bike rack outside and the restaurant was empty at the time, we brought our bikes inside to keep them safe. A few minutes later, a small group of customers came in and sat on the opposite side of the restaurant. Later, when we went to the counter to ask for cups of water, Candace told us we needed to leave because the restaurant was "too full" and that our bikes were taking up too much space — even though there were only five people in the restaurant total.
We felt singled out and unwelcome. Candace's tone and demeanor were unkind, dismissive, and unprofessional. This interaction put a damper on what should have been a simple and enjoyable visit to DQ.
I hope you’ll look into this matter and take steps to ensure that future customers are treated with respect and kindness.
Thank you for your time and...
Read moreThis is a pretty awful Dairy Queen which I do understand we are talking about DQ so its not that much of a stretch to be bad but this one takes the cake for being terrible. The cashier got my order wrong, wasn't a huge mistake and I didn't say anything because my food took FOR-EV-ER to come out. In reality it was about 20 minutes but still. Could have gotten Five Guys quicker than that. I ordered a BBQ wrap and a burger. I was given the Buffalo wrap instead of the BBQ one. If the burger actually tasted good, I would have sworn they slaughtered its, processed it, and made the burgers right then and there with the amount of time it took. Unfortunately, they tasted like burgers that you forgot about for 2 years in the freezer but don't want them to go to waste so you cook them up anyway. I was the only one at the restaurant. I probably should have taken that as a sign that I needed to run far away. I wish I could say something good about this place but its old and falling apart and the people who work there dont seem to care. I don't even want to try the ice cream because it would probably...
Read moreHey guys, just wanted to let you know there’s a Dairy Queen in Kewaskum, Wisconsin. If you live in Oshkosh It’s about 49 miles from this location but I can usually get there in just under 45 minutes. Between ordering and the 1.5 hour round trip it is STILL faster than ordering at this location when it is fully staffed with one other person in the drive through. About once every two months I try this Dairy Queen because I think to myself “hey, maybe they have finally got it together” but no year after year this Dairy Queen continues to have no idea what they are doing. One time I went inside because I assumed it must be children running the drive through..but to my surprise it was full grown adults! Reading this review you probably assume I’m upset but in reality I’m actually just amazed this place is still in business... each time I go through the drive through at least half the cars that pull in end up leaving because they are so sick of waiting... maybe their goal is to be a...
