My last review was much better than this one. Now, I understand that the food quality is hit or miss. There is only one thing I order from Li Yangs, it is the Egg Foo Young. They are the only Chinese Restaurant in the Fox Cities (maybe even Wisconsin) that serves the correct brown gravy. Everywhere else has some type of hoizen sauce that is bitter. Over the past several years, I have learned to test my food in the car after pick up. A couple weeks ago, the sauce was spot on. It was wonderful and heavenly (really). Today, it was off and sour, almost rancid tasting and had a yellow color that shouldn't be. I went back inside with my sauce and tried to explain my situation. I gave them the chance to make it right but the cook just defended the sauce she made. I'm sure it was what the cook was used to making and a different cook was responsible for the heavenly sauce two weeks ago. I may chance it again. Maybe next time I won't accept an inferior sauce. But, it was disappointing and my stomach does not feel very well. Michael - from Imagine Road Productions at...

So here’s my order. Order arrived on timely manner. However, my house fried rice was burnt you can smell that it was burnt it taste burnt. There’s difference between is seasoned wok and burnt food. Idk why a restaurant would make you burnt fried rice. Especially when you spent 60+ dollars. Everything tasted mediocre. If I wanted buffet food I’d go to the buffet. The general tso chicken taste like any other place, kinda overly saucy that your chicken gets soggy. House special lo mein had no beef in it. Usually when I order house special from other places theirs beef chicken pork and shrimp. Chicken curry wasn’t for me so I didn’t try that also heard it was disappointing. Portion was good size I will give them that. But to receive burnt fried rice. I will not order...
Read moreIt’s interesting to say I’ve been to several Chinese restaurants around the US and general tso seems to be the same everywhere I have eaten except here this general tso isn’t even crispy or fresh and it’s taste like Walmart sweet and sour chicken with a hint of fish disgusting.. I’m pregnant and I know how my general tso is suppose to look and taste this wasn’t nearly the same. When I called to complain about it tasting like fish they said they don’t make anything with fish there, so if you know any different then you know they are lying. So yeah when I was craving general tso this definitely left me disappointed because I barely have the money right...
