Ordered near $200 multiple pizza order Saturday evening 6/28 for family cottage week with relatives coming in from all over. They forgot an entire pizza. No big deal.
We called to request a credit back for this. Not in store credit, but a credit back to the card, after them delivering to us in Gobles (20 min. Away) was not an option. They stated they would credit us back. It was made clear that we did not want an in store credit, they confirmed. 3 business days later, I called to follow up, having not seen the credit yet.
Talked to owner, Tim, who has owned this for 9 yrs and he stated that they “credited it back” meaning in store credit. And could not process the actual credit back to the card on the date of purchase due to “having to re-enter the entire order”.
I do not care what you have to do to make it right, but when a product is not delivered, the amount paid for should be and is legally required to be offered back to any credit card transaction service/provider used. I spoke very nicely with the owner and he kept stating that they were unable to do this. I know for a fact that you are absolutely able to do this, ESPECIALLY when caught same day (in fact, caught same hour of pickup).
When being confronted about this, being very familiar with business law, the owner simply stated jargon about batch, which has nothing to do with his ability to be able to contact the third party transactor provider to cancel the pending transaction, and re-enter the order minus the missing item which was a $20 pizza, to reflect correctly the order which was received.
This is shady, and unprofessional, and completely lazy of an owner to be unwilling to have done this at the window of opportunity when this could have been resolved having been their own error, so they can retain $20 for product that they did not give and because the alternative was too taxing.
Do the right thing next time and act more humanly and with integrity.
By the way, the order was by a 90+ yr old grandma wanting to provide food for the whole extended family coming into town.
For anyone new trying this out, I would not recommend it due to their integrity alone. They missed a whole pizza order, which is no problem in itself, but how they handled it, and their unwillingness to provide a credit back to the original payment method when it was 100% their fault, and then them lying about not being able to credit it back to the original payment method is unethical, bad business, and has also been reported to the better business bureau.
Watch when they say they will “credit you back”. Clarify this with them because they do not intend to credit your card back. They only mean in...
Read moreGourmet? Where?? I could make better pizza at home. I thought they would work their issues out after opening but they still provide the same slop they did before. Cinnamon rolls should be easy for them! You gotta mince the pecans yall, you can't just leave big ol hunks of whole pecan in there. The icing INSIDE the cinnamon roll is a bad call. Do a cinnamon sugar spread like everybody else and put that icing on top. The apple dessert pizza was ok, soggy and cold from the wait but it tasted like pie and was edible. The boneless wings were ok too, which makes sense because they probably come out of a box frozen and didn't have to be touched by whoever is in the kitchen. Previously I have ordered a calzone and a regular pizza, both of which suuuuuucked. Add some garlic, parmesan, something! Tasteless bland boring dough. I ordered when it was absolutely not busy at all, and it still took an hour to get my order. For the price, it is NOT worth the service or the taste. If I wanted unseasoned bad pizza I would get one for much less in the freezer section, and it would still be an improvement. Save your money, anything you make or buy in the freezer section would be better than what...
Read morePizza is great and we've only ever ordered it to pick it up. We tried eating in for their buffet this past Sunday. Salad bar was ok, although wish it wasn't shredded iceberg lettuce, and pizza buffet was pretty decent with the selection and taste. I used the women's restroom and I was utterly shocked. One of the worst bathrooms I've used and no less at a food establishment. Makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I left stunned to say the least. 1 of the 3 stalls had no lock on it so not usable, 1 stall I used, almost totally out of toilet paper. The toilets were disgusting with brown, orange and green rings like it hadn't been cleaned in a looong time. Same with the drains in the sinks, funky scummy build-up like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I sighed when I looked in the mirror behind me and saw 2 automated paper towels dispensers...sure enough neither worked at all. Bathroom felt dirty and gross everywhere, walls, floor...didn't want to touch anything. Won't be eating...
