This store used to be very good. But the last couple times we have used it they have been very slow, and just putting our pizza in the oven when it should have been ready. While some of the employees have been pleasant, others including the manager have been very short tempered when not having a good day. Not having a good day apparently includes getting more orders than they can handle than they are prepared to handle (at dinner time on weekends). We usually order on line, cause that seems simplest. But today when I went in 20+ minutes after ordering (and the site saying that it should have been done by then), our pizza was just going into the oven. When I confronted the manager about what was going on, everything in the restaurant stopped. Everyone stopped working, except for the one girl who initially waited on me very pleasantly when I first walked in. Instead of apologizing to me, one of their best customers for sure, he raised his voice and said, âdo you think just because you order pizza online that itâs gonna be ready when they say itâs gonna be ready, if thereâs 10 people in front of you, thereâs 10 people that are gonna get their pizzas first and youâre gonna be last.â. Somewhere in our conversation he pointed down the counter where the pizzas were âbeingâ made and, said to me, Iâve got enough to do, âI just donât care.â I said, yep thatâs it. You just donât care. Years ago I worked at Dominoâs in Grand Rapids, we were one of the busiest stores. Most of our business was delivery and there was a 30 minute guarantee on Pizza is being delivered within that 30 minutes or they were free. That did not happen very often because our managers made sure we had enough people working in the store to care for potential busy times, which were pretty obvious. The manager threw me out of his store. I sent my daughter and wife in to pick up our pizza. The manager at that time just a few minutes later, was sitting in his office with his head in his hands and the workers that helped them were very apologetic. That being said our Pizza was in terrible condition. It came out with several, huge bubbles, which they correct by slicing the bubbles with the pizza cutter, but they do not move any of the toppings back into that vacant space. They just leave it. Back when I worked at Dominoâs, there was a rolling pen thing that had sharp pickers on the end of it that would flatten any bubbles before they started. Apparently they do not do that anymore,...
Read moreAlmost ever time I order they forget my sauce. It wouldnât be such a big of a deal if it was free sauce but they charge almost $2 per sauce and when I order 6 at a time, I expect to get them.
So after getting my delivery order, I call to say the werenât there. They told me they would get them to me right away. I live less then 5 min away but Iâm at home with a sleeping newborn or I would have gone to get them myself. Over 30 min later I call to say I still had not received them. I get hung up on.
My food is cold at this point. Iâm not eating a meal I donât have the sauce for. I wait 5 min to see if they would call me back and maybe the hang up was a mistake. No call back.
I call again to ask for a refund this time and get hung up on, again. This was after waiting 5 minutes for them to pick up. ( pretty sure they have caller ID)
The assistant manager also kept making excuses such as âIâm new, Iâm still trainingâ â the driver had other pizzas to deliver first and that why it took so longâ also went as far as to bring up how she is âautistic and is dyslexicâ. The assistant manager refused to give me the managers name and refused to tell me when I could come in to speak with her, claiming it was a...
Read moreI loved working at the Plainwell Dominos. But, it became a struggle for me towards the end. The store manager there is absolutely rude. He favorites certain people. One day he asked if I had a disability and he had said he wasnât going to tell anyone at all and he was a councilor at one time and he is licensed. So I had told him that I am on the autism spectrum. He told me that I would never judge you for what you have. The following week, another assistant manager had told me that he mentioned to a few people that I have a disability. A few days after she told me about that, she ended up leaving âquittingâ. I had stayed a couple more weeks. I may of not liked the person that was in charge, but I absolutely loved working there because I was able to improve customer service. I am super glad that I do not work there anymore. It really stinks having to put all of my time and effort into a company and then this is how you are treated like. I hope that the company makes wiser choices in the future and I hope that this doesnât...
