Rancho Grande - Ottumwa — Restaurant in Ottumwa

We frequently go to this establishment for a fast take out dinner. The last 3 times it just hasn't been the same. New people working there not knowing what they even offer on the menu. We went there Saturday night to place an order and it was $25 dollars more then it normally would be for the same things we always get. They guy was seriously trying to pull one over on us and it was the same guy who told me they have never had fried ice cream before ( which we order weekly). We will be taking our business else where. We did love this place and it was our go to spot...

Updated review: This has become the family preference for local Mexican. Reliable food quality, table cleanliness, and atmosphere are all appreciated. Usually I get a variety of foods across multiple visits but I've found I enjoy the basic beef taco just as much as the fajitas, , either of the mole offerings, or the huevos con chorizo. The margaritas are still good.

the beef burrito and enchilada are the same thing... JUST meat in a shell, no different sauce, or add beans or something to the burrito... the Chile relleno, is just sliced open, layed flat and covered with cheese, nothing elce. i will not ve back her after getting this...

the waitress was very nice and did a good job i blame the kitchen and management for thinking that was a good thing to send out. im takeing just the meat and cheese home and will make a real meal with this later. way to much for that...
