Tom-Tom Tap — Restaurant in Ottumwa

Last Sunday, I and two buddies stopped in for a few drinks and something to eat. One of my friends saw that their breakfast was served all day, so we ordered breakfast. I ordered a Fiesta Skillet , along with one of my friends. The other friend ordered Hotei Hash and said that it was really good and had no complaints. The Fiesta Skillets were a disappointment. Instead of using freshly grated cheese, they used a pale yellow cheese sauce......YUK! The eggs and hashbrowns were pretty good, but that cheese sauce was horrible. I picked up a piece of toast to eat with my eggs, but when I picked it up, I noticed a long hair was on my toast. I showed the toast to the young lady at the counter who took our orders AND the MANAGER that was on duty, and neither one of them acted like that was a big deal, or even offered an apology to me. I am done with the Tom Tom Tap after this experience of total disrespect and lack of concern towards the people who are there supporting them. 3 customers that are fed up and will NEVER go back.in...

Really great and fun atmosphere. A nice place to relax. First time in the area and hotel guest; I came here for a drink after a long drive. Shelby behind the bar was very welcoming, professional, prompt, and friendly. She made me feel like I was at home. She gave me several locations of interest to see while I was in town and went above and beyond.

The drinks are great! I recommend the Maker's Whisky Sour and the Bloody Mary.

They have a wide selection on their menu. I had what I would call a roast beef Manhattan and it was very good although it's called something else on their menu.

Just wanted to try something new. Our waitress was slammed but still kept our wait times short. I don't remember what my date ordered, but we shared some onion rings and I got the hamburger pizza. Both were exactly what I expected. The bar tender also made us some sangria and i had another long island iced tea. Everything was very yummy, hot if meant to be hot or cold if meant to be cold.
