Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Overland Park

Terrible service & management. Right after national ice cream day I tried to order the new unicorn freak shake that I had seen advertised. Nobody in the store seemed to know much about it, but said the owner hasn’t told them about it yet and implied they are behind on the other stores. From there, the two servers waited on my family of 5, while also helping other customers in a popcorn fashion. They didn’t know who was next in line or who had ordered what, it was a mess. Today I arrived to pick up a polar pizza that I ordered and paid for online. When I arrived at the scheduled time as indicated on the online order, nobody was at the store. It was 11:30 am and the store was supposed to open at 11:00. Lights were off, doors locked & no sign posted explaining why they weren’t open. I called the number listed for this store and no answer but a recording that said, “ please enter your access code.” I ended up having to drive across town and pay for another polar pizza, because each store is individually owned. I drove pass this store on my way home and noticed the store was open at 12:15. I walked on to let them know what happened. The nice young man behind the counter said this was his first time opening the store and was told by manager to just come in at 12:00. Your collection and presentation is nice and simple, We tried a good collection of ice creams around the city but your ice creams are competitive

Everyone who tried all other items around the city, I want you to try their collection too because their ice cream is so thick and solid.

Items are tried:

Vanilla with Hot Fudge.

Chocolate Ice cream.

Vanilla Milk shake.

Cookies and cream milk shake.

Jamaica chocolate ice cream too.

Almond Pista Milkshake is so good.

Chocolate Milk Shake.

One day that too at their closing time we were craving for ice cream and we thought of trying this place and they satisfied me :)

I’ve consistently found the Baskin-Robbins on Metcalf to be unacceptable. Every time I've made a stop there for my grandkids, it's the same disappointing experience.

In contrast, my favorite Baskin-Robbins location at 11528 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66214 takes pride in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere that truly embodies the delightful essence of ice cream, despite the inherently messy nature of the business.

Unfortunately, the Metcalf location greets its customers with uncleanliness, and it only gets worse once you're inside. The unpleasant odor is something a picture can't capture, and the dirt and ice cream spills seem to be perpetually ignored. This is not the standard I expect from a brand...
