I tried calling multiple times to ask questions prior to booking a $200 large party reservation but no one answers the phone here; should have taken a clue and moved on with my search for a place to accommodate a large group.
I gambled and booked it online anyways, because it sounded like it would be a really fun time for an adult birthday celebration with guests ranging in ages.
The online form asked how many guests would be attending and at the time of the booking I had 20. The large party reservation online description says that you’re seated together and it includes golf as well as chips with queso and salsa.
A few days prior to my reservation date, 4 of the people who I accounted for at the time of the reservation (over a month ago) had a death in the family and were unable to attend. One other guest was not feeling well and opted to stay home. I didn’t think this would be a big deal as far as the reservation was concerned since it cost me the same amount regardless, but apparently the staff on duty had a real problem with this because they continued to talk poorly about it from the minute we sat down until we left.
Never being here before and not given any instructions via email prior to arrival, I walked in and told the “greeter” who I was and told him I would like to pay for my parties first round of drinks and I wanted to order appetizers for the table. I asked what the best way to do this was. This would have been a great time to explain that everything was done via QR code, but instead he blew me off and told me to talk to the bartender and showed us where my reservation was.
When something is advertised as seated together as a group, I assumed it would be just that, but instead they had 3 separate tables/chairs with a sign on them “reserved”. It was really awkward and broke our party up. We were going to ask if it would be ok to push tables together, but after continuing to be ignored by staff, we pushed two of the tables together, so we could sit together as a group. Doing this did provide the staff something else to talk about while they enjoyed drinking together around the bar and not providing any service at all.
The staff here acts like they hate the public and their jobs. Every interaction with them was painful. To the point that when we didn’t get any salsa with the chips, we were too afraid to ask for it.
It was a disappointing experience, that could have been avoided with an email ahead of time with a “what to expect the day of your event”. If I had been provided that, I wouldn’t have had to ask any questions when I got there and would have known that it was a 100% hands off approach from the staff.
The food and drink selection is good.
This place has a lot of potential, but unless you are ok paying a lot of money to watch staff take shots and drink beer while talking poorly about your group during your time there, sticking to the dirty floor, and figuring everything out yourself, then this is not your hole in one...
Read moreGot there and the guy at the front had issues taking my card, i think he was new but wouldn't explain how anything worked. I had to go to the bar for help and he gladly took our cards and gave us clear instructions. He was really nice and i wish i new his name so i could put it here! we ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizers which took over an hour to get here. I saw lots of other people who had just gotten there getting served before us. Half of food was cold, like the cheese curds that were mashed together and chewy and stale on the inside. My reuben was burnt but I decided not to say anything as the new food probably would have taken even longer to come out. Alcoholic beverages were just bad, my cup wasn't clean and my friend's lemonade-tea just tasted like watered down alcohol. I do not think the prices for the food was worth it at all because of how cold and rushed everything was! I had high hopes for this place and we couldn't get a time when our food was coming out and when I asked to get a water while I was eating they made me walk all the way across the building to the "water station" that dispensed water but no ice. I feel like this place needed more space for courses but the courses there already were pretty fun. It was Taylor Swift trivia night and the questions were fun and so was the atmosphere of the place when people started pouring in. I just wish the staff treated us better, it felt like we were neglected even before it got busy and that was when maybe 15-20 other...
Read moreUpdated Review since previous 2 star: The owner (very kind) reached out and made it right. We decided to go back and bring a party for their Friday night Beer Pong Tournament and had a blast! Will definitely be back. My ONLY issue with coming here at this rate is that half the staff I meet are above and beyond friendly and just overall a very good energy to be around. There has always been one girl there though that every time I see her she never smiles and always acted like I am putting her out when I ordered something or when we asked her to take a group photo for us. I LOVE this place, the food and drinks and vibes are cool, but I was disappointed to arrive at 8:30pm knowing they close at 10pm and feeling pushed out. The staff was very nice, but at 9pm are they stacking chairs on tables, turning some lights off, turning the music/tvs off, locking the front doors and closing down the bar? We even ordered our food to go as to not cause problems or extra clean up and just wanted to play a couple rounds before we took it home. Ended up leaving soon after (about 9:30pm ish) because we felt...
