I understand you can't cater to the whims of every customer, but if you are unfriendly AND unreasonable, how do you expect people to come back?
I greeted the cashier in a friendly way. She just looked at me. I don't eat meat, so initially, I asked for tofu as a substitute for the meat. She said that wasn't an option. No problem. I asked for side of plain tofu at an additional cost. She said that wasn't an option either.
I asked to speak with someone else, but she interjected and asked for me -- simultaneously shaking her head no as she asked the question. Then the worker I asked refused as well.
You're telling me that a cafe in the middle of a grocery store does not have the ability to sell plain tofu? But, they can sell a side of plain rice?
It felt like she was on a power trip more than anything. She didn't want to sell me anything but the meat, so that was my only option. And it's my option to spend my money somewhere...

Everything is bright and modern. Lots of benches where people can enjoy Asian meals. It’s even the real deal where you see roast duck and roast pig hanging just like those authentic Cantonese restaurants.
They even have the large display kiosks where you order your food, pay and a receipt gets printed. Your order number is flashed on the screen.
The food was ready pretty quickly. I ordered mine to go so it was placed in a cute to go bag.
