Graif Clothing — Local services in Owatonna

Very poor overall customer service, there was a complete lack of communication through their OWN employees; Nobody we spoke to was on the same page. They refused to listen when we specified who needed what pieces and insisted (with an attitude I might add) we didn't know what we were talking about with our own wedding party.

Days before the wedding there were no bow ties or pocket squares, and shoes were in the WRONG sizes. One of our groomsmen had to pick up his shoes at NOON the DAY OF the wedding. We were lucky the wedding wasn't in the morning! And don't get me started on the hem work. They measured incorrectly (I'm talking 6+ inches of fabric) and had the Father of the bride looking foolish. Hemming apparently means 4 stitches around and obvious loose fabric hanging.

They just want your money, and I would never go through them again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. (If you need a better recommendation, Weddings By Deb in Faribault was fabulous with our wedding dress!)

EDIT: i think its important to note how they did not address the poor hem work in there response. They misread/lied about the issue to being "the week of" when it literally was the DAY of the wedding when his shoes arrived :)Nor did they address the lack of communication or the way their employees treated us. There's a common thread of them twisting reviews and making it the customers fault. Look at the other low star reviews.

I went through Graif for my wedding and was just disappointed in the experience. Communication was not good. We went through the owatonna store for ordering and had half of the guys measured there and the other half measured in the Mankato store. The Mankato store was suppose to send those measurements over to the owatonna store. I called owatonna to confirm they had received the measurements and ordered the suits, they said they didn’t have the Mankato measurements but they were going to check with the store and call me back in an hour but never did. The Mankato store had never sent them over and lost said measurements so they all had to be rushed in to get remeasured to get our order made in time. There were three times I called to check in on things and they said they would call me back in an hour and never did. Suits came in and we had shirts that were too small which should have been an easy fix but instead of sizing up my fathers shirt they sized down and also altered his jacket making it smaller and it did not fit anymore. We also received a suit jacket that already had the seams ripping.

The man we spoke to that day had my dad go in and replaced his shirt that they luckily had in his size and had alterations done to his suit jacket over night to have it ready for the wedding. He also personally delivered it to our venue that day so I’m grateful for that employee and the effort he made to help us that day.

Decided to visit Graif Clothing after seeing some advertising and watching the building get remodeled, from the last few months. At first glance, my assumption was that is was another women’s boutique, but once inside it was quite the opposite. My family was greeted immediately by the store manager, Maddy (I believe) and she asked if we were looking for anything in particular.

I was drawn to the suit and sport coat section, which was versatile and organized. My overall experience was spectacular! I say that that, because I’m normally very picky with clothing. Thank you so much Maddy and Tyler for your patience, honesty, and encouragement through the whole process.

I ended up getting a suit and sport coat, since it was BOGO. Alterations are apart of the service, which was a nice bonus, that I wasn’t expecting.
