I give this a 4 due to the fact that it's been many times that I've ordered and only been given parts of my meal. Today 11/26/24, I got up to the window and was already missing part of the order, they didn't hear me correctly when I asked for two kids meals. I had to wait and pay for a second kids meal (no biggie it happens especially when you've got kids in the car making it difficult to hear). I received the kids meal but had this weird feeling something was off, so I decided to park and double check my bags. I was missing an entire half meal (a biggie bag) and the cookies for my toddlers. So I had to go back through the drive thru to get it correct. I am so grateful for the manager as she was kind enough to double check everything the second time around even though she served the order the first time. I'm not angry, just disappointed. She took my receipt the second time so I couldn't leave a review with them directly, so I'm doing it here. There weren't a ton of people at Wendy's so I was surprised that they missed pieces of my order. It's not the first time to happen and I'm sure it won't be the last because it seems like employee turnover is a challenge at this location. Read moreHorrible service!! First we were ignored at the counter for about 5 minutes, no "I'll be right with you" or even a "Hello". Then when she finally even gave eye contact to us she was just a sour person. They ran out of the bread for the sandwhich we wanted to order so I asked if we could maybe get it on a different bun (we all wanted the new Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger) she sniped i dont know if I could even do that! GO ASK SOMEONE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION!! So with a long line behind us we just quickly ordered hamburgers, apparently she didn't understand what a single hamburger was even though she works in fast food and asked me "which one?" I specialize in customer service; have been in the industry for over 15 years, I've won awards for my customer service and have been a top trainer in customer satisfaction. I take it very seriously and this place is not up to par! What I was shown at this Wendy's I would be embarrassed if I trained these workers. By other reviews it seems like this is a constant problem here. Its sad this store is right off the exit by a hugely popular Owatonna attraction. Please get some new workers for other travelers. We will not be coming back to this...
Read moreFood is always decent here every time I've stopped. Last visit was extra special. The staff and their choices make me continue to laugh though. We roll up at 9pm, mobile order placed. They inform us "driver thru is closed" . Gets me every time. I am welcomed inside their building with the sight of everyone putting their aprons back on, trash bins all pulled out, mop bucket being pulled away from the bathrooms, fresh gloves being put on to accept/start my mobile order... Almost like the lobby should have been closed and not the drive thru. I question if they caught on to this concept, cause when I finally was walking out with my order, they were accepting an order from the drive thru squak box. So that was humorous.
Also, Not for nothing, but because I was asked to come in I then got to witness the beef patty being pulled from the warming drawer, witness the fries were not fresh (confirmed soggy fries upon eating), and see that bottom of the barrel pour of a nearly empty pitcher of lemonade. I appreciate the tidiness of the lobby was being kept up, but don't force me to come in to WITNESS how not-so fresh any part of my food, aside from chicken nuggets (a few were under cooked )...
