I was told China House owners also own the Panda Buffet near Walmart... IS THIS TRUE? If this is true then their motive is to drive the original Hong Kong Restaurant out of biz. Do u think this is right? I''m a long time resident & customer of the original Chinese Hong Kong Restaurant guy... Hey guys, is this what we want, is this what we do? Now answer n vote with your wallets n $$$. This is Oxford, this is country, We do what is right... Let's send these guys that own Panda Buffet & China House Restaurants a message... Becaue of this I stopped eating at both of their restaurants... I'm sending them a message. They need to do what's right and close the China House Restaurant, their motive is wrong! I also was told that their Panda House Restaurant was sited several times by the Board of Health, is this urban legend or did this happen? I also don't want to be spreading lies - because that's not right to do either!

We called and placed an order over the phone and the lady who answered the phone did not have a good grasp of English. Arrived and when we checked our order in the car there was missing items. Our order consisted of four lunch specials, dumplings, and a pint of fried rice. We received two lunch specials, one order of fried chicken, and dumplings. The price was as expected so I did not catch the error earlier. When my teenage brother went in they made one of the lunch specials to replace the fried chicken and when he told them we were still missing items a man came out of the back and began yelling at him. As the receipt they gave us was not itemized there was no way for us to prove that our order was incorrect. We can work with the order being wrong as that is something that occurs in business but for someone to think it is acceptable to yell at young customer is unprofessional. I would not recommend this...

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their prices are reasonable, the people there are very nice (though slightly hard to understand their accent if you're not used to it), and they only get better.
