Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Oxford

So the place is small and only has like 2 booths to sit at but we got lucky enough to sit & eat there. It's your typical small Chinese restaurant as for atmosphere BUT I've been hearing about this place for nearly 30yrs... it's the small one by the RR tracks and only takes cash but food is great... finally decided I gotta try it out and I was NOT disappointed!!! The food was FANTASTIC!!! Pork fried rice was probably the absolute best I've ever had. Wasn't all full of sauce, had beautiful color and taste was incredible!! The egg rolls I could have sat there all day eating them!! My chicken & broccoli was impeccable, also got chicken & almonds, pork dumplings & crab rangoon which were all very good according to those I was feeding!! Will definitely return again!! Great job!! It's not easy to impress me but this place absolutely is as good as everyone raves about!! Bring cash.... but they do have an on-site ATM!! Parking could be an issue but...

I got charged for changing my side from white rice to fried rice. I wasn’t even told I was going to be charged more for fried rice until I paid and realized my total was $10 more and then when I asked why I was charged $52 when what I got was supposed to total out to $42 she then told me that they charge more if you change white rice to fried rice. I told her that the price increase is ridiculous. I could understand maybe $2-3 more in total for fried rice but $10?!?! And to make matters worse they don’t accept payments with card so you have to take money out at their atm which is an extra $3 to use. I will never be ordering food from here ever again. They completely ripped me off and thought I wouldn’t notice. There’s plenty of more better Chinese food takeout places close by...

Best Chinese food in the area. Just make sure you remember your takeout order number when you go to pick it up. They get so many similar orders, the only way to guarantee you get your order is to remember your order number and be ready to give it to the employee as soon as you walk through the door. Not much room to sit down and eat there but most people take their food home to eat so no big deal but that is the only reason I only gave 2 atmosphere stars. This place is so good on any given night of the week, their never stays closed for more than a couple minutes at a time. Not sure how they keep the store warm in the winter and cool in the summer with the door constantly opening and closing with customers coming to pickup their food. Best Chinese food in the county,...
