Del Taco — Restaurant in Oxnard

First time in 5 years we decide to try this restaurant. We ordered the Epic Queso Chicken Burrito Combo meal. We walked Inside the restaurant to order because Drive through was very long. No one else was inside. When we received our order they hurried it to us and had us out the door. Not very welcoming! I downloaded the app to see what they had even! I WILL be deleting! When we got home our Son asked about his drink that came with his combo. No Drink was given to us and aa ordering and getting us out of there was SO incredibly Rushed, we too forgot. Totally Frazzled experience! So I call and first he wants us to come BACK to get it. NO. We were there Once and Once Only. Then he said he'd give us Credit for the drink. Great! For a one time visit in 5 years, they screwed up a Drink ?? WOW. Sorely disappointed and will NOT be returning to Del Taco. The food was Sub Par, warm , not Hot and there are MUCH Better Tacos which are Authentic for less than $40 for 3 people. Not for us for Fake...

It’s del taco, what more do you expect! I’ll give it 5 stars in all categories but for the actual rating I’ll do 4/5. Reason being the price and reduction of the menu. Personally, I worked at one for a good 6 years and I am appalled at the fact that there is no longer a value/$1 menu?!?! Yall were the bees knees for that and now you aren’t. You’re telling me a bean & cheese burrito is $2 now??? They were less than a buck just 9 years ago. Also I’m annoyed that yall removed the epic breakfast burrito!! Bring it back. Btw insider information, back in 2020, when they got rid of the value burrito (~.89 at the time) they also decreased the regular bean and cheese burrito proportions. They had rolled out new tortillas that were in fact smaller than what they were! They also decreased bean portion by changing it from 2 scoops of the green ladle to one of the yellow. So smaller portions and the price went up. Yall greedy for real and your stockholders. Anyways it’s probably gotten worse since...

If you ever want fast food, DONT go here, they have THE SLOWEST drive-through I've ever been to. It took 15 minutes for me to order and get my food one time. And there is ALWAYS someone on the intercom who is rude as hell. If you hate your job that much either find another place to work, or fake it till you make it. The only reason I still even go to this Del taco is because it's the only one near my house, and one of the only places open late around here . I just read through a lot of the reviews and they are all saying the same things that I am… That should say something. You need better management and better staff. After all these negative reviews you would think they would've done something by now. If it were up to me, I would fire every single last person that works the night shifts and hire new people.
