El Super Taco — Restaurant in Oxnard

I don't know who owns this place or if they even care about internet ratings. I know they care about cash, cuz that's all they take. There are some "hole in the wall" places who's food brings you back, even if you mind tells you your not in the best place in town. But when the lack of service and the rudeness of the workers is so blatant that you start wondering if it's worth the hassle, even the best food doesn't matter. Me and my money literally walked away to the sound of fake surprise, because the gal taking orders there couldn't stop her personal conversation with a boyfriend/customer who already had his order in hand. I stood there listening for about 5 minutes and then finally asked if I could order, only to continued to be ignored. Now I'm not an unreasonable person I thought maybe she didn't hear me but she definitely can see me standing right in front of her, so what's going on?.... OK I guess what's happening this weekend is much more important. It must be that your business doesn't need mine.. I'm thinking I know there are lots of other struggling restaurants in Oxnard that will be happy to have my order. So I walked away and she has the odacity to make a face and say to her suiter, something like what's wrong with him. Well apart from being hungry and now being unappreciated by a place I "used" to recommend, nothing. It's what's wrong with "super taco". This is one of the most underrated taco shops in the 805. This place is a cash only walk up window now…but there was a lobby and restroom available at one point, but now it’s all under renovation. Super Taco offers all sorts of Mexican “antojitos” like quesadillas, tortas, burritos, sopes etc, etc. Everyday the food is prepared fresh and made to order. This place never forgets to bring the authentic flavors and textures of true Mexican food, while getting you your food quickly and freshly made. One of the best parts about moving a lot is trying out local food spots. I mean, the taco spots in some other states don't even compare to the taco goodness that comes with beautiful SoCal. Enter Super Taco. The carnitas platter is delicious. Honestly, every item we've ordered exceeded our expectations.
