El Dorado Mexican Food — Restaurant in Oxnard

We had originally gone out to eat at other places but those were overcrowded. This place was a couple of blocks down and looked decent enough. The food took a bit longer than usual but we were told there was a new cook. We waited patiently and were not disappointed when our food came out. The sea food we ordered was very delicious and we were highly impressed. It was a bit too much that we had to take home but very satisfying. The only thing we did dislike was the very loud music and very loud staff/customers. It was hard to speak and or hear my partner who was sitting right next to me. We stopped here for dinner after taking the train. The food was pretty good, but the music was way too loud!!! We measured it at over 100 decibels! We couldn’t even hear each other very well when yelling, let alone trying to ask the waitress questions or give our order. It was ridiculous to say the least! I have been to concerts that were not this loud! It isn’t a club or a dance hall, it’s a restaurant.
