McDonald's — Restaurant in Oxnard

This McDonald's is one of the worst in Oxnard!! My girlfriend and I enjoy McDonald's sundaes and Mcflurries regularly, sometimes once or twice a week. We've had numerous issues at this location and another with our orders and service. Both of us have previously worked in food service and understand it isn't always easy or "fun," but something as simple as adding mustard to a chicken sandwich isn't difficult, especially if it says "add mustard" on the receipt attached to the sandwich that DOESN'T have mustard. Now this could be because of their machine but their Mcflurries are never mixed properly, the mix-ins are always at the top. So then what's the point of that thick, wastefull, plastic spoon if it's not mixing? Several times we've been made to wait nearly 15 minutes, for a couple of ice cream cones, while noticing employees chatting and laughing amongst themselves behind the counter. On one particular visit the drive thru was a little too long for our liking, so we went inside thinking it may be a little faster. However, the girl ringing our order most likely was a new hire was struggling somewhat. For the most part she did fine, but it wasn't until she called a manager over that this visit became unpleasant. Instead of guiding her through the transaction, acknowledging us as customers, and providing service, the manager thought it would be a better opportunity to ridicule her and tell her what she did wrong and had apparently been doing wrong for more than one transaction, instead of completing our order. He continued this for about 5 minutes before walking away, not once looking over at us, the paying customer! Most would advise going to another location but the next closest McDonald's restaurant is on Channel Islands Blvd and is...

_This is a recent review. from my review bellow now 2024 I never returned to this place..but I decided to have a hamburger and this was my closest place to go to. They did it again. they give me a bag I take off and there is two little hamburgers on the bag. My order was a big mac combo large size. and another combro and nothing we order was on that bag... had to drive back and get my food and this has been the story of my life with this place for years.._______________________________________________________________________Forget fast food this is not. For years I have use this place thru the drive thru. Every time I left either my fries were missing or something. Now they're getting worse. Double line , waiting for almost 30minutes to get my order taken. I pay and all I get is my drinks and they asked me to wait on number 2 I waited for another 30 minutes and my food never came. Everyone else behind me was getting their food. So was this personal? who knows. Im out 35 dollars and no food after an hour I left with no food looking back hopping to see someone come out and nothing. How can a place like this get away with scamming people this way. Unacceptable. I still have their drinks just as they gave them to me, saving those for the judge...

HaAAojog you are McMWeFTheAny,,OPAANThe atmosphere has an uneasy feeling to it.I go there often and have seen OPD called by the management that resulted in arrests of customers ,citizens.Everyone has different views in this issue,yet having to involve OPD is going overboard .What,people going through crisis don't deserve McDonalds? And If it isn't insulting and degrading enough ,the management placing the call are the generational products of illegal citizens.Yeah now how do u feel.Im proud to say I'm seven generations strong.What happened to Mc Donald's is a happy homelessness is a crisis,not a disease.To all person's whom entered this Country illegally. How can I trust anyone when the first conscious decision they chose to make is to commit a crime of lying , stealingand cheating for the sake of,what? A Mc Donald's job,heck you even stole .How can we give are youth work ethics and values to success when the summer jobs we depended on for are 16-25 year youth are absolete.Then our Country wonders why we struggle so.
