(Updated Review as of 05/13/25 9:35 A.M.) from 1 star to 4 stars.
I received phone call from the General manager this morning, give or take 9:00 A.M. issue is being (or going to be) Resolved. Thank you, G.M. Austin! I appreciate Your attentiveness to this situation. The G.M. represented not only their self as a Manager accordingly, but also, to the McDonald's Flag standards that we all have grown to love about McDonald's. Friendly and attentive. For the public record: My review is not and was not to get anything from McDonald's. But rather hold the the person responsible for their actions accountable in a situation that at the time was representing not only the local establishment but, the McDonald's Flag as a whole. Thanks again to the G.M. that called me first thing this morning!
(This review is a copy and paste of what was told to a Central McDonald's office to relay to upper management and the franchise owner by me) Your manager Carolyn, (that's the name that was given by an employee working on shift tonight) she (Manager Carolyn) had multicolored hair (Red, purple, yellow, Etc) blue jeans, Grey Shirt tucked in and she had glasses. Now, let's get to the issue at hand. I stood at the front counter for what felt like several minutes. We ordered at 8:50pm I started standing at the counter somewhere between 9:15pm to 9:27pm give or take. 3 employees including what looked like a Store or store assistant manager walked right past me without asking if I was helped or needed help. My brother ordered sauce, I had not for my fries and was wanting to buy a couple packets. After standing up there for several minutes we ask if someone could help us when the lady claiming to be the manager informed us "no we will not help you, someone just ordered $75 dollars worth of items" so we said we were just wanting to get a couple of sauces and then said manager Carolyn said she definitely wasn't going to help us because we were "acting like teenagers" we were not at all and when the Cameras are watched they will not 2 adults, one (me) I'm the one wearing florescent yellow/green shirt and my brother wearing a black shirt and then she told 3 other employees to "DO NOT HELP THEM!" Cameras videos and sound should definitely be reviewed to see just how your "Manager" helps customers when the main management isn't around. Maybe send in a secret shopper. I think the Store manager, District manager, Franchise owner and the Flag of McDonald's would be extremely disappointed of how in-store customers, let alone McDonald's customers are being treated. Carolyn the manager at this Ozark MCDONALD'S wouldn't even give me a customer service number, website or anything. I literally had to call the Nixa, Missouri McDonald's to get a number to call after I described to their manager what was happening at the Ozark MCDONALD'S because both McDonald's used to have the same owner. (Not any longer). After I called 1-800- BigMac and was leaving, the Manager Carolyn hatefully said "Have a Good Night" so I said you too management will be in touch and she smarted back "yeah okay". Then we left. The length of time she was being hateful and rude she could have rang up 2, 25¢ Sauce packets paid and done. But it's was more important for her to stand there and be rude and discuss us with the other employees. What's done is done and is not the expectancy of McDonald's standards or at least wasn't when I worked for McDonald's in 2009. Greatly disappointed and even though the food was decent the manager acting the way she did trashed the whole...
Read moreIf there’s one place that tests my spiritual resolve, it’s the McDonald’s in Ozark. After church, with my halo barely polished, I try to drive past, but my kids—oh, my kids—have other plans.
“Just one fry, Dad,” they say, like it’s some harmless little bait. I know better. That golden, salty, crispy goodness is no ordinary fry—it’s a gateway fry. The moment I hand one to the backseat, it’s game over. That smell hits me like a choir of deep-fried angels, and suddenly, I’m swinging through the drive-thru like a man who forgot what self-control even is.
I tell myself, “Just a cheeseburger. It’s small. Practically a snack.” But that cheeseburger? That soft, slightly smooshed bun and melted, processed cheese? It hits harder than a Sunday sermon. And those fries? They’re still good—criminally good. Like, I’m-questioning-my-life-choices good.
Next thing I know, I’m elbow-deep in fries, fighting my kids for the last one like it’s a holy grail of potatoes. “That’s mine!” I say, as a small hand lunges for it. Forgive me, Father, for I have snack-attacked.
So, if you’re ever leaving church, full of righteousness, and you see that golden arch glowing like a beacon of sin... don’t stop. Or do, because let’s be honest—those fries and cheeseburgers are still worth it. McDonald’s Ozark: where temptation tastes like childhood and regret comes with a side of...
Read moreUsually the manager on duty is a women with blonde hair And she’s very fast to resolve things and make things right she has made things special for my daughter. It was a parent she was not there tonight as they messed up and gave me the wrong drink size and instead of handing me a cup has me wait for her to run out two different orders. Another women’s food was wrong and the girl that helped her wearing headband hat waved her arms around at her when she said her food was wrong. The headband girl and a taller guy With an earring working all just looked at me and the girl waiting to be helped and didn’t say a word to us for a bit. Wow, the whole time they were talking about how people just have a mean mugging look and attitude. If customers can hear you complaining about them While you purposefully, ignore them stocking one item for a minute, they’re not going be very happy with you. Also, the cheese on our burgers...
