Things happen at businesses that are accidents. What separates good experiences from the bad ones are how the staff reacts to bring the issue to a conclusion. I’m happy to say that I was pleased with my experience at this Papa John’s today. I arrived for a pickup within minutes of my pizza showing as “ready” on the app. My pizza was waiting for me behind the cashier, and after he gave me my receipt, he walked to the back and through a door. After a few minutes of waiting, I called out to him to ask if there was an issue with my pizza. He came up front and apologized because he thought another employee was bringing the pizza to me. Then…. he accidentally knocked my waiting pizza upside down on the rack. We were both horrified and speechless for a moment before he apologized again and said he would make me a new one ASAP. As I was waiting for the pizza that wasn’t upside down, he came out from behind the counter to apologize again and said he was refunding the money I spent on the pizza - and my new, free pizza would be out soon. I wasn’t expecting him to refund the money. A new pizza would have satisfied me, but he wanted to be sure I wasn’t upset for the unexpected wait. This was the perfect example of going above and beyond, and I really appreciate him owning up to the mistakes and working to correct them. If there were room for an extra five stars on the rating, I’d give them to...
Read moreUPDATE 8/28/34 Have visited this establishment several time since and they just can’t get order right. Tonight wife ordered a pepperoni pizza with added mushrooms. Get it home and guess what no pepperoni just mushrooms. This has happened twice before and have not complained. I guess if you want your pizza made correctly go back in kitchen and do it yourself. Not pleased at all . This is the kind of screw ups I would expect from the local burger place. Visited 4/4/24 . Could get app to work on phone for discount but when ordering the young lady at checkout was kind enough to add it for me. Ordered a stuff garlic stuffed cheese crust pizza with the works. Didn’t check before getting home and upon opening box realized it’s not what I ordered . I didn’t call or complain so my wife and I ate it anyway. It was still hot and very tasty even though it wasn’t what we ordered. So not complaining about taste or ingredients just the fact order was wrong. I would have gave higher rating but fact pizza order was wrong I gave 3 stars. Make sure if you order from here to check...
Read morePapa Johns Philly Cheesesteak pizza has always been a favorite of ours. Unfortunately the last one we purchased there was more of just a plain cheese pizza with little to no toppings. It didn’t even have the added on bacon that we ordered and paid for. I did not ask for a refund; I simply wanted a good quality pizza which ultimately did not happen. It seems that quality/quantity at this particular Papa Johns location has given way to a more profit oriented culture rather than a customer oriented culture resulting in sub par products. There are far too many other choices of pizza places to patronize than to tolerate pizzas that are no better than the store bought frozen ones. While losing one customer (me) will be negligible for this particular store, continuation of producing a sub standard product will ultimately cause them to lose MANY customers and eventually trying to “save money” while reducing toppings will...
