El Charro — Restaurant in Ozark

When my husband and I got there we ordered our drinks and queso which we snacked on while we waited for our order. I got the chicken nachos deluxe poured my Pico de Gallo and the queso on my nachos only to find that my chicken was cold. I then caught a waiter walking by and he took my plate had to wait a few minutes and he brought me a new order where I asked for more queso and pico seeing how all of mine I had used on the cold chicken I was brought more queso and no pico but I just let it slide and ate my food..but when we got the ticket I was charged for two quesos so I went to the register and asked why am I getting charged for two he then went and got the waiter that became very angry and even went to where we were sitting and got the two bowls then after his anger and attitude he went over and was pushing on the calculator really hard to take off the second queso.. I have never in my life sent any food back at any restaurant and this used to be one of my families favorites however after tonight and the way I was treated it will be the LAST TIME THAT MY MONEY WILL BE SPENT THERE! So I went to 3 different El Charro restraunts in the last 3 days and this is the review of them... First off El Charro in Nixa mo, my son and I went and it was great! The staff were nice and the bathrooms were super cleanA+ next day out with my son and husband we were in Springfield mo downtown. I'm not sure of the address on this one it's next to a raunchy looking club. Maybe there's bad energy from this club or something but the food was not as good and my son and I ordered the same as the day before. The staff at this one were not necessarily rude but they just did their job I guess, maybe they didn't want to be there. Visited Sunday about 11.30 am lunch. Quick seating and met with friendly staff. Ordered tea and chips and salsa provided. Chips were cool and somewhat generic while salsa was definitely like something out of a jar. Salsa had no real flavor or taste to it. Look like tomato sauce with no kick. Anyway we had ordered 2 #6 lunch combo meals that was supposed to have red sauce on them . I thought the food was decent but not good enough to drive 20 miles for and red sauce was scarce on plate. No beans with this meal was somewhat unusual. Place was clean along with restrooms . No complaining as in bad way but there could be some minor changes that could seriously increase there ratings.
