A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Paducah

We dined in on 1/4/24 around 4pm. The food was perfectly fine. No issues there. They did have a B rating from the health dept on the door. The dining room however looked like it was covered in grease. The windows, the tables, the bottles of condiments all covered in greasy finger prints. We were greeted by an older lady that took our order. She was very friendly. However there were two younger girls that were bagging orders that were so rude. We ordered our food for dine in and got it no problem. At least 20 customer’s came in while we were eating, and the African American girl behind the counter gave them dirty looks and yelled at the customers telling them carry out only. The customers as well as us, were all confused because they allowed us to eat in the dining room but no one else. And don’t ask for condiments. You will be met with an aggravated expression, and while a girl was getting honey mustard she took it upon herself to wipe her nose with the top of her hand. Meanwhile, he face and arms were covered in open sores. Like I said the food was as expected, but the service and cleanliness of the dining room and behind the front counter will turn you off from the place. I did do a survey off the receipt as well. The food was bad in every way and very disappointing. Stale rock hard breading, the fish was like jerky. Shrimp tasted off like they were spoiled and also were dried out. The fries were dark brown and stale, cheese curds were almost black as well as the hush puppies. The oil in the breading tastes rancid like they need to change it asap. The chicken was the only thing that wasn’t burnt/overcooked but sadly it was pale and undercooked to the point the breading was just smearing off. Had to throw over $30 of food away for fear of getting food poisoning. The restaurant was basically empty yet we waited over 20 mins for “Fresh protein” to be made although we were served old food that clearly sat for a while. They should also stop talking trash about customers within earshot, so unprofessional and sad because the customers weren’t rude and just asked for fresh food. I waited over 10 minutes for my food at the drive thru. After finally receiving my food, I realized I was charged for regular size Polar Swirls but ordered and received the minis. I pulled back around to inform them of the mistake. After waiting on the drive thru attendant to look up from her phone I informed her of the mistake. She argued that was what was ordered. I agreed but told her I was charged for the regular size not the minis that were received and tried to show her the receipt. She would not look at it and rudely told me to pull forward so they could make what I paid for. They brought the correct size out shortly, no apology. I called to inform the manager of the poor & rude service. She clearly could not have cared less. They could desperately use some customer...
